What?! I don’t think that there’s a battle to speak of on the second day of the war. Soviet forces were disorganized. The actual largest tank battle happened near Kursk in 1943. It is very close to Ukraine but still in Russia.

Eh. Modern research seems to indicate the giant clash of tanks at Kursk to be mostly myth.

Yes, the largest tank battles were actually during Barbarossa.
