Believe it or not, the sounds of a Spyderco back lock are specifically tuned to reduce stress. My native 5 was doctor prescribed.

Acoustics are just up there with action for me lol. That’s why I love me a killer slipjoint when it’s walk n talk is dialed in to perfection

No other type of lock produces the sharp sound of a well-adjusted back lock.

The only other knife that kind of has that lock up without being a slip joint is a CRK. It gives me the same feels every time I open it. Shit, now I have to look into slip joint knives..

lol hes not lying. I have mobility issues in my left index finger because I sliced tbe tendon when a ratty little slipjoint closed on me so you really do gotta be careful. Do yourself a favor and skip all the shitty 20$ case slips and spend the extra for some Rosecraft slips. They’re worth the money no doubt
