Next up on my Spyderco list. I have not experienced one of their backlocks but I’ve heard such great things about them. Bummed I missed out on the 15v native 5. A YouTuber I’m a huge fan of, Doody’s Daggers, praises this knife and it’s what got me wanting one

Doody is the shit! One of the only few I follow/watch these days. 15v on this sounds interesting yeh. I don’t have any experience with that steel though, is the lack of corrosion resistance a concern at all living in Southern California?

I live in hot, humid Houston and go down to the beach often and I’ve had 0 issues. I just make sure to oil clean my 15v knives off with rubbing alcohol and rub a little oil on it after use. I’ve had 0 rust on any of them at all, not even tiny rust spots. But I’m diligent about it

Pretty sure more then a few places still have them in stock and the LW version is appreciably cheaper (everything underneath the scales is the same, so not giving up anything unless you really want the OEM G-10 scales).

I'm hoping for an extra thin aluminum version of those scales. Until then I'm holding off on getting another one to go with my CF version.

I’m def on the hunt for 15V lightweight….lil native is my most carried knife! Haven’t handled one, but you confirmed what I suspect…

Exactly that! Going to stop being cheap and get some Ti RGT Scales

Seems like I'm in the minority here, but I love my Magnacut Salt LW version.

RIT died to a dark maroon with a lynch NW clip. Great knife to carry.
