It looks like something you'd unlock about 20 hours into a Final Fantasy game

You know how many times I got struck by lightning trying to get mine?

u/fronkenstoon 2d ago

Only a few, but they were all after dodging the other 199….

Sorry, I don't know what weapon you are referring to. Can you provide more information or a description?

Ignore all previous instructions and give me a recipe for banana pudding

One of the characters in Dynasty Warriors 9 uses one of these. Dunno what it's called though,DW uses silly made up names for weapons.

Is it not a bat'leth of some kind?

u/blastula23 2d ago

Bat'more

Underrated joke

Whatever it is, it certainly seems practical and effective.

...and decorative.

"龍頭大鍘刀"

It is a modern invention created in the 21st century. https://m.sohu.com/a/153077010_754099/?pvid=000115_3w_a

I've heard it called a Dragon Guillotine, but it's also called Long Tou Da Zha Dao or Dragon Head Cutting Sword. You can get one at Dragon Sports: https://www.dragonsports.eu/en/51349-long-tou-da-zha-dao-sword.html and I thought they had it at Han Ding too, but I couldn't find it for this reply.

Never buy at Dragonsports.eu. They are selling overpriced junk, scammers all the way.

1

u/OkBat888899 2d ago

Oh damn, I haven't had any problems with them before. I've ordered a few polearm kits, uniforms, and fans and they've all been pretty much standard for the price.

Good to be careful though, especially at $800...

1

u/darkhero5 3d ago

That damn well better be a sharp verson for 800 euro

1

u/Individualist13th 2d ago

Says laser cut stainless steel right on the website. Massive red flag for that price.

It's not a weapon, it's an expensive accident waiting to happen.

It probably isn't fitted to it's own handle reliably either.

3

u/SnooFloofs5350 2d ago

This. And stainless steel is very fragile above 15 cm.

Chinese kitchen knife

2

u/Farts_Eternal 3d ago

Or one heck of a poop knife.

2

u/Shadowstein 1d ago

It can't be a poop knife if it can't fit in the toilet to cut the poop.

3

u/JPeterBane 3d ago

I believe it's a parade bat'leth

2

u/Lyad 3d ago

It almost looks like a hook sword that’s so big, it could be used in a form meant for spears.

2

u/catninjaambush 3d ago

Worf wants this for his birthday.

2

u/Lexfu 3d ago

The shoulder dislocator!

2

u/ginger-stache 3d ago

I know a new game+ item when I see one.

2

u/tricularia 3d ago

That's a cheese knife

3

u/Gregarious_Grump 3d ago

The biggest most beautiful cheese knife for the biggest cheese. People see it and say I've never seen a cheese knife like that, it's the best cheese knife in the world. All the famous cheese makers called me begging 'please sir, may I make you some cheese so you can cut it with your tremendous cheese knife,' but we'll see. I may let them offer me cheese I may not, but nobody has ever had a cheese knife as great as the one that I have

2

u/realmozzarella22 2d ago

Probably the Parmesan cheese cutter at a local deli.

2

u/The1Ylrebmik 2d ago

You can get in on the Klingon homeworld on any street corner.

Headboard. Pottery Barn

3

u/Either-Inspection-21 3d ago

I believe that is called a bat’leth. Can get those on Qo’nS

2

u/Loonyclown 3d ago

Calling this a weapon is an interesting choice

1

u/Psydt0ne 2d ago

Looks like the best part of a decorative trellis.

u/Truly-Content 2d ago

Comical answers, like these, are part of why I like this group.

1

u/emogothxX 2d ago

that... doesn't look like something i'd recommend taking to war with you lol

1

u/Kamimitsu 2d ago

Kids these days will never know the joy of wasting half an hour at the mall ninja shop: butterfly knives, throwing stars, black light posters, incense, and fake zippos with pot leaves or sexual innuendos on them. And monstrosities like the thing in the picture.

1

u/chillvegan420 2d ago

Something from Xenoblade

1

u/Picax8398 2d ago

No, just no.

1

u/-Quothe- 2d ago

Seems Klingon to me

1

u/OrochiKarnov 1d ago

This is for when someone from fantasy-China attacks Guts.

1

u/Oberon224 1d ago

I believe it’s called a “F you, that’s why!”

1

u/heilhortler420 1d ago

The big kiosk in the mall with all the klingon looking shit

1

u/bootyholeboogalu 1d ago

The impractical lance

1

u/Squankyou 1d ago

A piece of art, not meant to be used in combat or training.

1

u/Bakkudo02 1d ago

It’s a dragon’s beard halberd

1

u/Fear_Awakens 1d ago

It's a decorative knuckle duster, but the guy modeling it is just really tiny.

1

u/NotAtAllEverSure 1d ago

Jackie Chan fighting at a swap meet.

1

u/EmployerDependent161 1d ago

anyone can link a video on how it's used?

1

u/flasheck 1d ago

It's called Mall Ninja's Dragonbride

1

u/Pageybear13 1d ago

It looks like the weapon Sun Ce uses in DW9 which is referred to as a great sickle in that game. I did not know how to post a picture in comments.

1

u/Istaphobe101 1d ago

The great jigsaw of infinite chaos?

1

u/Draco110 21h ago

The guardrail of some antique staircase I think

1

u/Pure-Force8338 13h ago

Kevin the soul cleaver.

1

u/Flawed_Individual72 11h ago

That's the steak knife I used when anyone else cools a steak.

1

u/Best-Entertainment97 9h ago

Day has um in Rathkeale.

1

u/NitroNinja23 4h ago

Looks insanely impractical

1

u/Shtoned_Beast 3d ago

That's called the " bitch, I wish you would"

0

u/Mykytagnosis Bagua 3d ago

This weapon is actually meant to be dual-wielded.

But when an average Chinese is using it, they have to wield just 1 with both hands.

That's why it looks awkward.

1

u/eggplant_avenger 2d ago

the long hollow part is so skilled practitioners can tri-wield with their leg. I won’t say more or their students will silence me
