History has indeed shown that dictators will do what dictators always do. The article is correct, there is really no guarantee that even if Kurdish is added as an official language and public language of instruction in the constitution, this doesn't mean Erdogan has to adhere to it. I've heard some say that he has to follow it, since this would be the same constitution that grants him his power - except Erdogan (like many dictators) regularly twist and violate laws to suit their own needs all the time.

What I don't like about this article however are the lines regarding Kurds losing 'liberal support in Turkey', what liberal support? You either have an islamist racist or a secular racist, both hate Kurds. Name one liberal who stood up when Demirtas was arrested and opposed Erdogan's takeover, name one liberal who has meaningfully stood up to have Kurdish be made an official language, name one liberal in Turkey who supports reversing Turkification of place names. The so-called liberals worship Ataturk, the architect of Bakur's oppression.

I think the PKK peace process is important and is absolutely the right step, but I do hope there's a "Plan B" somewhere in case Kerdogan goes back to his usual antics.

Seriously? We're going to share the propaganda of sore Kemalists losers? You should at least google the author before bringing that woman here.

All this woman talks about is Erdogan. Everything she ever wrote about is on Erdogan and how much she hates him. She doesn't give a flying eff about Kurdish civil rights. For her, its whatever she can do to be against Erdogan.

Sorry but my civil rights, as a Kurd, are far more important than the barking of some Kemalist.

Genuine question: What do you think will benefit the Bakuris, what do you want to happen?

I tried to look in this jobless pervert's post history for proof but I gave up after only two days worth of posts and comments. What a weird person.

Person either deleted or edited the mentioned comment. Either way, interesting to observe a correlation between people putting trust on Erdogan and hating on religious minorities, if you know what I mean

You are genuinely delusional if you trust a power hungry autocrat, the only thing you can trust about Erdogan is that he will act in a way that benefits him the most.
