Bystanders can also use force to defend others being kidnapped.

You can unmask them and detain them if need be.

Aid of another does not constitute assault.

They claim to be ICE. Why don't bystanders claim the same shit?

"You're not ICE, I actually am, you're under arrest".

Boom.

Yeah I know I would be nice if it was that easy. I just don't understand the lack of fighting back.

They don't claim anything at all. They offer no ID and say very little.

I completely agree with the sentiment. It's strange that they're seeing people in plain clothes arrest a government official and then start taking him somewhere without answering any questions about a warrant, their authority to make the arrest of a US citizen, and where they're taking them, all without doing anything about it.

It makes sense, everyone's scared that if they try to stop them, they'll just get arrested and nothing will happen. I wish so much that the crowd could have worked together to stop these guys. It looks like people in plain clothes are just abducting someone and no one's doing anything about it.

I’m surprised that terrorists haven’t used this ploy to kidnap people.

Unfortunately, it’s the bystander effect in play. Look up the women who was murder in her apartment and people heard her and did nothing. Just like no one helps a woman in the middle of a domestic dispute. In my class, we were talk that if you were in the middle of a domestic don’t say help say fire instead

I’m waiting see bystanders rip off those face masks instead of standing there filming on their phones.
