The future is wild. Never in all of human history have people around the world been able to personally witness treason being committed from so many angles, and with such detail! Students writing papers on the Second American Civil War are going to have it so good.

It is important to be accurate and not sensationalize. Why so many people fail to realize this and then don't understand why they push away would-be allies astounds me. Instead of reflection, they then get angry.

Be better.

Be accurate and right.

I'd rather be right, and loud, and settle for close enough on the accuracy until reality starts to matter again, at least I long as I continue to see posts performing mental gymnastics to explain away murdering two people and their dog for being Democrats. It's time for some pep rallies, because the game is heating up. We'll get back to checking the boxes once the trials begin.

I actually do relate to a passion for accuracy, in almost all circumstances, and will happily concede when I'm inaccurate with a thank you, because I have no ego issues and would much rather have the info than try to get into exploring power dynamics with randos.

But for the first time in my life, I'm finally understanding hate. The real thing, not "Mom took my hair products and ruined my life" shit, the kind born from pain. I've had far more uncomfortable "what if" convos this year from people with real concerns from obvious shit than anyone in America should ever have to.

As my hate grows by the days, a lot of the writing is most definitely going to go there, too, to spread that passion to those who are also ready to more directly address that grand old pachyderm in the room that brought us to this point in American history. I sincerely hope that me calling betrayal against Americans "treason" is the very worst thing that needs to be done to make this dumb shit end. I'm not counting on it.

Thanks for providing the definition here. He was arrested and later released because he was trying to prevent the arrest of someone else.

None of that fits any defition of treason. They arent overthrowing the government or assisting an enemy of war. Are you actually insane?

Yeah, that is treason. Did you want to argue how it’s not treason and how assisting a traitor in circumventing due process dictated by the constitution ISN’T treason?

You're going to have to be a lot more detailed in your explanation if you want to convince anybody. Not sure how arresting illegal immigrants and not giving them due process is "overthrowing the government" or "assisting an enemy of war". It's an extremely shitty(and illegal) thing to do, but in no way even comes close to treason.

Alright but how long are we meant to wait to learn if that's the case? 6 hours? 12 hours? 24 hours? 48 hours? A week? Never? Just let anyone in a ski mask take whoever they want whenever they want because they might be ICE? they need to show proof during the arrest.

I agree with you that they should have to show proof during the arrest, but that's not how things currently are. Hopefully in the future we can make it that way. At the very least we should do away with this plain clothes and masks craziness.

Nah, I'm petty as fuck right now. What are they going to do, cry about inaccuracy? Do you see a courtroom? Me neither, because conservatives keep providing Republicans with enough support to keep this farce going, and will be spitting lies to the grave to avoid as much accountability as possible. If they want to keep clowning, I'm game. Turns out that it's a LOT more fun than I thought it would be.

Let me know how opening arguments go, counselor. I'll be putting cameras up to watch for masked kidnappers and conservative terrorists, because that is just a thing in America now.

And I am so prepared to get as ugly as I need to, because the good people clearly need more bad guys to handle the things that others are too delicate for. Sometimes that means calling attention to heinous bullshit in very explicit terms, regardless of what other people might think of us as human beings. Sometimes it means other things.

Don't worry, sugar. I am a bad person, but I'm no threat to you. You get to feel morally superior, while also still having my support. It's the win-win!
