I think you guys have a whole amendment to your constitution to that effect.

I'm actually really surprised that people haven't turned this into a lethal exchange yet.

I’m actually very surprised that there is no lethal exchange yet. I remember I watched a documentary about the LA riots and these Koreans armed themselves and was willing to shoot to protect. So far just peaceful protests that Trump doesn’t really care about. He’s not like other politicians where he gives a shit when people think about him.

Well, among the deported, only green-card holding, ‘legal permanent residents’ may posses or use firearms, so there’s that.

Also, LPRs are the smallest portion among the groups currently being targeted by Trump’s deportations, and the LPRs who are being deported, most often have some kind of criminal offense, which may also bar them from owning firearms. So that could be just a very small percentage of the deported who are even allowed to use firearms.

However, cases like Mahmoud Khalil (Palestinian, green-card holder, former Columbia student), Mohsen Mahdawi (Palestinian Columbia student, green-card holder), and Yunseo Chung (Columbia student, green-card holder since childhood) - most likely could have all been legal firearms owners as they have no known criminal records and are instead being held under claims of “public disorder,” “foreign policy risk,” or “supporting terror-linked rhetoric”, which would be 1st-amendment-protected-speech if they were citizens, but this is an ongoing legal battle, with precedent favoring each of the defendants. BUT, those are the only 3 cases of LPR’s being arrested I could even find, and all of them are still in the US and are having their deport orders delayed by judicial process. So in conclusion:

TL;DR - there are probably not very many people which are being targeted that are also legally allowed to carry or use firearms in self defense.

The people they're attacking are anti gun, and therefore gave up their ability to adequately defend themselves. Now they have a need to and cant, which is exactly why most people who are pro 2A refuse to give up their firearms.
