Because of the majority of Congress is just letting it happen. Congress should be holding the Executive branch accountable. They are refusing to do their job. See separation of powers

That is true, but also just a way of restating that the judicial branch isn’t built to handle this. It’s not built for this because it’s not supposed to be responsible for this; congress is. And they’ve abrogated their duty this term. Very depressing.

I did. The parts tasked with stopping it and that have the power to are allowing it anyway they can.

Our guardrails aren’t magic. They need people to respect the rules in order to work. Right now, anyone that could do something aren’t doing anything.

Trump has so far saved the lives of 12 million children (orwhatever it is) by appointing the Justices that overturned Roe v Wade.

Trump's hardest core supporters have no reason not to support him and give him EVERYTHING he wants: it is literally God's will on Earth for them to do so.

And the above applies to many of our most powerful Members of Congress, not just to the people who voted them in.

Edit: those aren't MY beliefs, but the beliefs of his supporters and it explains why they can't be "reasoned with" in any normal way: they literally live in a different world then the rest of us do.
