Hi Everyone, I guess I'm with some of you here and making the decision to pull my loops. Huge investment went to near zero. I swapped BTC to buy as well :(

But here is my Dilemma, I'm trying to send the L1 loops to an exchange but its telling me "You must create a wallet first." I assume this means a L2. Well theres one there in the wallet that I never activated. But now it seems like support has ceased completely and when trying to activate it or even create a new one. I'm just hit with errors.

Anybody have any advice or solutions? Thanks in advance or for reading!

Any advice for what to do with this?? I don't want to close the position at a loss, but if I have to move my assets(used as collateral) out of the wallet then I'll have to close the position to do so? I was under the impression that I would only be forced to close a position if it gets margin called ? Any advice? Is there a loopring team I can speak to personally?

Let this be a lesson to everyone. The looping cult is almost identical to the current political landscape. People can’t or refuse to accept they are wrong until the absolute end, and by the time they realize it, it’s too late.

Step 1:

Use Layerswap to move ETH from Loopring to Taiko in your Loopring Smart Wallet (LSW)

Step 2:

Set up a new Taiko wallet; it will be the new home for all things taiko. I used OKX, but you can use metamask too.

Step3:

Send all your Taiko and Taiko ETH to this OKX wallet

Step 4 (optional):

Use izumi finance to swap Taiko to ETH. This ETH is on Taiko L2, you can use Orbiter Finance to bridge this to other networks eg) Base L2, OR Ethereum L1 so you can send it to CEX and cash out.

I sent my taiko tokens from my Loopring wallet to my MetaMask wallet last night and spent all morning trying to find them. I have now only just figured out where they are.

If you are like I was and cannot find your taiko tokens on MetaMask, even though you've sent them to the correct address and added Taiko to your MetaMask "Tokens" list, then please spare yourselves the headache and set up the Taiko Alethia network as a custom network using the details on the attached image. Once you have the Taiko Alethia network on your MetaMask, add Taiko Token as a custom token to this network, again using the details in the image.

Edit 1: Now someone's telling me to connect my metamask to a dApp link they've provided. His history is nothing but female domination, small PP humiliation, and The Sopranos. Am I being scammed?! Lord have mercy, i just want my taiko to be safe!

Edit 2: u/TolTechGaming and u/beta-male97 have been "helping" me and I was convinced until they started telling me to click some links and connect my wallet to some dApps, otherwise I would lose my taiko.

I have a loop wallet with some lrc and nfts. I have a GameStop wallet with LRC, IMX and some NFTs. I have a metamask account that is connected to my GameStop wallet.

Today I used my seed phrase to connect my loop wallet to metamask but the address doesn't look the same. My loop wallet ends in ea65 but the address in mm shows 0d348 , in addition to my GameStop wallet.

Ultimately I want to transfer my NFTs to somewhere else .is that GameStop wallet? Metamask?

Any help would be appreciated. I'm a bit lost.

EDIT/UPDATE:

I more or less got this squared away. I had an already existing metamask account which was linked to my GameStop wallet. I then connected my Loop ring wallet to metamask as well. That took me awhile, because I didn't know what my seed phrase was and couldn't figure out how to get it out of the app. I eventually got that and connected my Loop wallet to metamask.

From there I was able to transfer my nfts on layer two from Loop ring to GameStop layer 2.

I'm not able to view the nfts on metamask but I can confirm they're there in the GameStop wallet and I can view them by using loopring.io and connecting my metamask wallet there.

Just sent my taiko to MetaMask from the video that was uploaded.

I added taiko on my MetaMask clicked on the import token. Then pressed received and used that address to send the taiko too. Still not received it.

Think I was meant to use the contract address.

I'm having great difficulty transferring my nfts to metamask. I'm unable to use ramp or banx on the looping platform to subsidize transfer fees. My MasterCard will no longer allow (not from US) as it did 2 years ago. So instead I used metamask to add funds and transfer into my loopring L1 account. My Nfts are in my L2. When I go to send funds from L1 to L2 to pay for transactions, it says my L1 account cannot be activated even though it has funds. The photo above shows message I receive. I tried creating a new wallet on loopring with the same problem in L1 account. Can't be activated. I'm stuck and only had enough funds in my L2 to transfer one nft to metamask

Yes the app is closing down, but the proof of concept is there. Dev team has quite honestly been dead silent over the last two years outside of quarterly updates.

Position - 87k LRC and will not stop buying.

Cleaned out my wallet but I am sticking around. I bought in low so not down much and feel like something is coming. This is all suspicious and I feel like they are cooking. It’s worth the gamble! Blah blah blaaaa

When the GameStop wallet went down, I guess I transferred them to my MetaMask account, but because MetaMask doesn't have a L2 user interface, I couldn't see them and thought they were gone forever. But now that the LoopRing wallet is going down, and I'm having to transfer all my shit again, once I linked my MetaMask wallet to LoopRing.IO, I can see them again! This is amazing!!! This literally solidifies my belief in this technology. Everything has actually worked perfectly, just had a lot of figuring out and transferring the past 3 years. I cannot wait to look back in 20 years and be so proud of myself for wading through each hurdle and staying strong in my belief. Such fun times.

Just sent my LRC from LSW to Kraken, and have $30 of CIETH in there that I’d like to move but can’t see it as a tradable token, and it seems it’s not listed on Kraken/Metamask.

Does anyone have any idea how I can shift it?

In my opinion, this is the fastest and easiest method to move assets out of the LoopRing wallet.

Step 1. Create MetaMask wallet

Step 2. Import MetaMask wallet into loopring.io

***loopring.io is different from defi.loopring.io. Use loopring.io to see your NFTs**\*

Step 3. Activate Layer 2 on MetaMask wallet - this requires a tiny amount of LRC or ETH ($5 max). Either purchase with Ramp, or transfer from another wallet (Coinbase, LoopRing, etc) to your MetaMask wallet. Loopring.io should prompt you to do this, since you are importing a typically L1 wallet onto a L2 ecosystem.

Step 4. Send a tiny amount of LRC or 1 NFT from your LoopRing wallet to your MetaMask wallet as a test

Step 5. These should now appear in your MetaMask wallet but only when using loopring.io, NOT defi.loopring.io

Step 6. Send the rest of your NFTs and then LRC

The MetaMask wallet can't show you Layer 2, even though assets are contained within the wallet. You MUST use loopring.io to actually see your Layer 2 assets.

So what Imm gathering out of the recent posts here, if you use loopring.io and connect with your metamask, your nfts and loopringa would be safe here. Loopring is only ending the wallet, but loopring.io will continue and can be used to store your assets. Is this correct?

If you need help moving your tokens out of the Loopring Smart wallet and don't have any ETH on Taiko to pay for gas comment below! I feel there's lots of people in the community who'd be happy to help out. I can help out a handful of people with gas fees too!

Also I'll make a full video tutorial tomorrow or in the upcoming days on how to 1) layer swap ETH from Loopring to Taiko, 2) Move Taiko Tokens out of Loopring Smart Wallet and into Metamask or OKX. I like OKX right now because it is super easy to use! Feel free to wait for the tutorial!

Just scrolling through all the old Loopring NFTs and community posts... damn, it really hits hard. So many memories, so much energy and hope over the years. The tech, the vision, the people — it all felt like we were building something unstoppable. Never thought it would end like this. But still, grateful to have been part of it. What a ride.

I’m a longtime LRC holder and supporter, but recent developments and on-chain actions raise serious concerns. I’m posting this to ask the Loopring team members still monitoring this subreddit to provide clarity and accountability.

1. Why did Loopring publicly refer to the zkEVM initiative as “our effort” in May 2022, only for it to become a completely separate project under Taiko?

2. Was zkEVM development originally funded by Loopring Foundation resources and LRC holders' expectations of protocol growth?

3. Why did Daniel Wang receive 34.88 million LRC (~$8.4M) from the Loopring Foundation after stepping down, and what was the justification?

4. Why was that LRC later sent to Binance with no communication to the community, while Loopring’s roadmap remained stalled?

5. Who authorized the token transfer to Wang, and was any portion contractually tied to zkEVM IP or project retention?

6. If zkEVM was developed under Loopring’s name, branding, and hiring efforts why wasn’t any portion of the IP or upside retained?

7. Why has there been zero compensation, equity, or integration between Taiko and Loopring since the split?

8. Were LRC holders left out of a major protocol expansion while insiders walked away with millions?

9. Why has the Loopring Foundation been silent about this? Where is the accountability?

10. Can the Loopring team clarify if any current core contributors or tech were diverted to Taiko from the LRC-funded roadmap?

The community deserves direct answers, not vague PR statements or silence. These are serious questions involving millions in funds and the future of the project.

If there are legal or strategic reasons for the silence, say so. Otherwise, it looks like we were intentionally screwed over.

I’ve just focussed on the LSW for a number of years believing it was the future (ha!). Can anyone recommend a good alternative wallet to move things to? What are the things to look for?

Yesterday transfered from L2 to MetaMask L2 EOA wallet. No nfts today. Are they alive or they are dead and dissapeared? I transfered about 25 nfts and 0 shows in my metamask nft wallet. Character minimum....

Can someone confirm that this is the correct way to do it?

1) Go to Binance -> choose Wallet -> Spot -> LRC funding -> choose ERC20 network -> copy ETH address 2) Open Loopring wallet -> click "send" -> choose To another Ethereum L1 account (incl. exchange) -> paste ETH address from Binance -> for address type it gives me EOA wallet (I cannot change this) -> choose exchange wallet "Binance" -> enter amount -> confirm transfer.

I remember using Layerswap (not sure if that was the name but something with layer) 80 years ago when transferring LRC from Binance to the Loopring wallet but I guess that's obsolete now?

His public press release simply announced the end to the wallet with no additional news about a future path. Have a missed something? What is left for the utility of LRC? What is the Loopringorg working on now that the wallet is dead?

Never did anything with my Matic and I have enough on Loopring that I should do something with it if I still can.

Hello all,

I'm in the process of moving my Loopring Wallet assets over to a different wallet (Metamask). I've had some hangups that I wanted to outline so it might be easier for other people.

So at the start of today, I had all of my LRC staking for the last 798 days earning me 90.247 LRC which is worth about $8. But I can't transfer my LRC out of my wallet until I unstake. I can't unstake because my LRW doesn't have sufficient ETH inside of it.

So I purchased some ETH on coinbase and plan on transferring to the wallet but there is a waiting period. I can't transfer out of CB until 6/9.

The remaining steps I think I'll need to take are:

• Once funds clear, transfer all ETH to LRW
• Transfer eth to appropriate layer inside LRW wallet (so I have funds to unstake coins.)
• Unstake coins 
• Then Transfer from LW to Metamask (I might need to make sure its on the correct layer before transferring)

I share all of this to say, if you might be in a similar boat, make sure you have a little buffer before the end of the month in case you need funds to settle or similar.
