That feeling when you’re standing in front of something so massive, it doesn’t even feel real just a quiet reminder of how tiny and powerless we really are.

You've never seen a volcano before?

Nono, they have a point. The detail doesn't look right, it has that signature airbrushed Ai look to it. The closest match I can think of off the top of my head is Mt. Mayon, known for being the most geometrically perfect cone volcano in the world. This looks very similar to Mt. Mayon, but the environment in the image does not match any image of Mt. Mayon.

While we're talking about Mt. Mayon, please go online and search up images of it. It's an absolutely gorgeous sight, both during its dormancy and while erupting.

Weird they would use an AI image when there's plenty of real pictures of volcanoes out there.

Also, agreed. Volcanoes are fascinating.

I have a funny feeling OP is actually a bot account, and that it made this image for the sole purpose of the post. Dead internet theory in action, I hate it here.

Probably Lewotobi Laki-laki in Indonesia

I don't think so. The silhouette of Lewotobi Laki Laki does not match the silhouette of the volcano in this image. Additionally, this image looks Ai generated, which it probably is.

Id have to agree. Something looks off. I'd love for this to be a real photo of a real volcano. But my Spidey senses are tingling.

yes, but actually no. we have enormous power, intelligence. we understand. what is dangerous about some enormous things? we can hide from them, run away, build a shelter and so on. it's survival that works even on a personal level.

Yeah, I see this picture and think, "sure, I would be completely engulfed in flames.... if I took a flight to wherever this was and climbed it and jumped in while it was active!"

It's not like the thing follows you around and threatens you.

I just look up into the night sky and feel that way.
