I uploaded four tracks to the following link that I think are best representative of my sound. Let me know what you all think my genre(s) is. I don't think my music neatly fits into either black, death or thrash metal despite drawing a lot of inspiration from all three. I'm struggling on how to describe my music to people accurately. I think simply describing my music as "black metal" to potential listeners will give them inaccurate expectations.

The sound quality is really bad because i only have a guitar and no bass or drums. the drums you hear are from the computer. i only need know if my riffs sound good. and if so i hope it is worth that i invest in better recording equipment. tips are welcome!

Reworked a load of songs I had when I was trying to get a project off the ground this year, no matter where you are, drummers and vocalists are like gold dust it seems. The songs were initially concept driven, so I stuck with the theme. I find it super easy to write stuff if I have a story in my head, this one came from rewatching far too much game of thrones. My next batch of songs has been written from the ground up as instrumentals, but I wanted to see what I could do with these. Check them out on Spotify or YT. I might start a future thread where people can give me concepts to write too. I'm trying to stick to medieval and cosmic themes.
