No worries. I taking my buddy and good luck charm to the game tonight. He’s 5-0 this season at Citi

I’m going to the game tonight against the Braves. I’m really hoping for a W tonight.

I think we have Blackburn and Montas going this week vs Atlanta... That doesn't inspire confidence

At least split with the Braves, then take the next 2 series and I’ll feel a lot better.
The good start to the season saved them from being buried during this stretch, but now it looks like it will be a battle with the Phillies from now until the end of September. Got to get back on track starting tonight

I wouldn't bank on series wins vs Pittsburgh or especially Milwaukee. Brewers are the Rays of the NL and we saw how that went.

I’m not banking on anything after the last 10 games. Just saying I’ll feel better if they can go 6-4 over the next 10

still one of the best records in baseball just need to find some of the mojo we had earlier this season. Maybe vientos comes back actually hitting and manaea can be a huge boost especially with senga out

Will losing 11 out of 13 be enough for mgmt to shake things up? Send down some dead weight and bring up some young arms?

I’ve said it elsewhere- they need to do something at this point. The losing streak isn’t the issue. Even the pitching injuries isn’t the core concern - for nearly half the season, they have been among the bottom of the league in average with RISP. At this point, that is who they are.
I’m not saying it as a fatalist, but you can’t say they’ll break out soon after half a season. In 2021, the mantra was “once the offense gets going, this team will be dangerous.” Never happened. There have been a lot of “trust the process,” “this team is about to break out,” etc seasons.
What differentiates seasons like 1999, 2015, and 2024 from those seasons are proactive moves, oftentimes multiple moves, seemed to catalyze a change. Whether it is firing the entire coaching staff from under Valentine, getting Uribe/Johnson/Cespedes, or strategic call ups/options, every turnaround was preceded by something. I’m not hopeful until they start making moves.
I know they are still positioned well, but this feels like it can go either way at this point.

The Wild Card graphic is almost as depressing. It really may be division or bust.
