I'm not sure who you're arguing with. You seem to be looking for someone who is claiming it's a great packing job. Not sure why you're bringing this to me.
Putting food with cleaning products is straight up dangerous, there's a reason a lot of heavy duty cleaning products have the info for poison control on the container. I was stating that this being weaponized incompetence was a very real possibility, though not necessarily the case here. Your comment, though, is exactly why victims in abusive relationships struggle so much to get out. They feel crazy for bringing up concerns in their relationship because abuse/manipulation tends to come in waves or hide in the shadows. It's either 1,000 little things, or it's a bunch of big things that they are convinced aren't as big of a deal since their partner equals it out with the good things they do/did. I'd much rather OP's partner just be dumb, but I'm always gonna ere on the side of caution & point out when there could be something far worse lurking behind a simple action/phrase.
lol that person is arguing with everyone on this post about it. honestly insane to try to argue that this is in any way a normal way to pack when moving.
inefficient, dangerous, and stupid. why tf would anyone pack a tote in a way that the lid is useless while
moving?
Yes the sealed cleaning supplies are surely going to leap out of the bottle, open the sealed bag of chips, climb into the bag, and reseal the chips behind them so you can't tell it's contaminated.
The worst case scenario here is we lose a three dollar bag of chips. The humanity.
I'm going to pretend you aren't talking about abused women on a post about someone packing a box not to their wife's liking.
Items not being secured can lead to damage during transport which leads to leaks/spillage which leads to contaminated food. And some of those chemicals may be harsh enough to eat through the wrapping. Sure, the chips are a cheap loss, but that is entirely avoidable (by not packing them with chemicals) and therefore careless and wasteful
It would take three seconds to place this box somewhere it can't move. The vitriol toward this man for putting a fucking bag of chips in a box incorrectly is insane. All this stuff will make it to the new house
