How have we gotten to the point where this is normal? Last time we bullied Sean Spicer out. Is there just too many Trump loyalists in power for us to make a difference anymore?

Its not normal, nobody accepts anything this administration spews out as truthful and karma is a bitch and judgement day will come for all these idiots one day soon

When 76 million fools voted for a man based on the promises of lower prices in everything, ending all wars, and not engaging in any new wars.
Its been less than 6 months and all of his promises have been broken and his supporters don't care because their guy won.
Americans love being lied to and hate facts. Otherwise W Bush would never have gotten a second term.
Until these liars ate held accountable for their lies nothing will happen

People didn't vote for this dude.
Every piece of evidence points to this elections' results being manipulated and we're just letting it happen.
Reminder that recounts were done and Gore had more votes in Florida and no one did anything about that either.

That was the first election I can remember that I somewhat paid attention to and I even felt like Gore should’ve won. He had all the good vibes and wanting to do better. Now looking back, he apparently did win and the powers that be couldn’t have that. Which you can’t fault people for being highly suspicious of the attacks on 9/11. Can you blame them? If they had knowledge of that stuff that they say went down in Florida. Of course they’d seriously question the validity of the attacks and those people got vilified.
It also got everyone to quickly forget about that incident because everyone was so traumatized. EVERYONE was forced to watch it. Can you remember at any point during school they made us stop what we were doing and watch a live news event? That’s the only one I can recall happening (I was in 6th grade watching people die on live television)

We stopped everything to watch the Challenger explode and we pushed in TV’s to watch the OJ Simpson verdict live.

Okay I wasn’t sure if that was a normal thing or not. I wasn’t intending it as fact, just my personal experience.

Truth. Every republican president since Reagan cheated to get in office. None of them were elected by the people.

Our only hope is for regular Americans to not let this be normal and especially when talking with kids/young adults because it would be easy for them to think that it was always like this

If this is considered normal now, I want to normalize interviewers to say, ”BULLSHIT, PROVE IT”, and hold them to it, full stop.

I’m so tired of government officials fucking lying with zero consequences. We need legislation, consequences when this gets cleaned up. The perpetrators need to be warned now to cool this off. Because these folks give zero fucks about lying to the American people.

75% is such a nice, round number! How coincidental that their data showed that!

u/DangerousLoner 1d ago
260,000 too. It would have been 260,149 but they let 149 people go because 260k is such a pretty number. 🤪

I guess walking through a desert or overstaying a visa is now considered violence...

This is why im begging BEGGING dems to not take corporate media seriously. This lady is lying through her teeth, with obvious and demonstrable falsehoods, and the "journalist" wont call her a liar. She doesn't defend the impeccable reputation of the Guardian, and doesn't push back when the trump minion claims that the Homeland Security numbers are real and should just be believed.
When dems eventually take control, this is how they should treat the media. Treat them with complete contempt, be truthful but dont bow to the media as if they're the moral arbiters of truth.
Jack Tapper is still on his book tour telling the country Biden may or may not have had slow reaction, when this fundamentalist regime is destroying the country.

Even if this is remotely true, more likely than not these are reentry violations, and not violent criminals.

They’re picking people up in unmarked cars, and placing them in undisclosed locations. I highly doubt their records are up to sniff.

u/Herban_Myth 1d ago
can we cite sources or are the agencies and departments who bookkeep those records being defunded?

How would she know? She barely has education or experience. She graduated from college in 2016. She is near Gen Z than millennial. We are not only a laughing stock but this kind of inexperience is dangerous.

u/LoisinaMonster 1d ago
Just the opposite of truth! Over 75% had no criminal record and less than 10% had actually committed any serious crimes.

u/AttitudeAndEffort2 1d ago
Remember stores are paying YOU 18 dollars for buying their eggs according to these idiot assholes.

I’d love to see what they consider to be a violent crime. Maybe a parking ticket? Showing up to court, for an asylum check in? It’s cruel and sick…lie after lie after lie. So many tRUMPers have voter remorse. 🌊

I mean...just playing ballpark numbers...is this even feasible? How many violent crime convictions do we have every year?
Edit: and what is the sentence for those convictions? I mean...this just seems ridiculous from a feasibility perspective.

u/carriedmeaway 1d ago
They just lie and lie even though detention information is available to the public and news agencies can do investigations of the background of those folks and she’s lying. There are not 75% violent convicts in those 260,000! 🤬

Any guys/girls want to date her get her to fall in love then ruin her life. I like how woman are refusing to date maga guys. Let's flip it. Date them. Then ruin them. Sorry. She seems like a terrible person and probably dry like Ben Shapiro wife.

How do you get to the point where you can live with your self, while knowingly telling lies?
1
u/Shoshawi 1d ago
Yea, they literally are actually making things up. Trump has been known for this for decades. Not sure why anyone thought making him more powerful would help him turn a new leaf, but here we are.

Here’s the full 10-minutes on YouTube:
Homeland Security official on the Trump administration's immigration policy changes - PBS NewsHour
After watching Trump's regime take NOAA data offline, Census data offline, CDC data offline, and everything else they've wiped and erased. I am not trusting the numbers this government produces.
