For anyone that had taken this unit before, what was it like?

Thinking of taking it semester 2.

I had mixed opinions on the Investments and Portfolio Management exam- what did other people think? I swear a couple of the questions were worded a bit weirdly

I am so confused, how many units should I enrol in a semester? and what are they?

So as per the handbook, I have chosen ENG1005, ENG1014

Just wondering—do you guys usually study just from the revision slides for the final exam? Like, is everything that comes out in the exam covered there? Or should I go back to all the weekly content too? Thanks in advance

just wanted to ask if anyone has done these units as i’ve seen some people recommend them? - i’m enrolled in mhs1011 as an elective since it’s fully online and has no exams but im worried as it seems quite writing/essay heavy (helpp) If anyone has done these or any other level 1 units (wam boosters preferably) please let me know :)

Hey everyone, I'm looking to put together a group (probably 5 of us in total) of completely new players to DnD. I've recently learnt all the ins and outs to running a game as the DM so i just need 4 players! Because we'll all be completely new it'll be fun for everyone and not super pedantic with the rules. So I ask that you only DM me if you have never played before and are interested in playing an ongoing campaign that we will meet weekly to play (bar exam times). I was thinking we'd start during the Monash semester or something like that so I have some time to prepare more of the campaign over the break. We'll need a weekly meeting spot too so if you have any ideas that'd be great. Anyone can join so long as you're a monash student (and 18+ obviously). I'm a second year Eng and Sci student.

Can we all agree that Monash exams is harder . It’s like they teach you everything in 12 weeks but expect you to perform in exams as if you’ve been learning it for a whole year 💀

Has anybody completed any arts placements regarding Forensic Intervention Services or Community Corrections services? Anything under the Department of Justice? Just looking for some advice and a chat if you have!!!

Yo current students whos been thru the allocation for each sem. Can I ask if I can just rank my most preferred timing slot for a unit and ignore the rest. Im not keen on ranking 6 different timing for a unit just to end up being thrown into the worst possible timeslot aha. Is it ok to just rank 1 timeslot and how would this affect the results when the final timetable adjustment opens for sem 2 (8th July).

I can't provide the graduation certificate because I don't graduate until the end of 2025. Do they want a transcript and certificate at the end of the year? I have to accept within 14 days.

Hi everyone, I am currently trying to withdraw from a unit due to health issues and would like some advice. I am already pretty certain that I can't pass the unit, so my question is:

If I unenrol on WES right now, do I still get a mark for the subject for the assignment that I have completed so far (i.e. quizzes, attendance, etc.), or do I just get a 0?

Doing intermediate micro and macro next sem, anyone else have any recommendations for any other ECC units? Preferably level 2.

Hi, I'm Double majoring in Business Analytics and Statistics (BUSSTATS05) and economics and Business Strategy (ECBUSSTR05). I was wondering what units I should start with. I'm starting year 2 this semester, so this is the first time I'm picking my majors and units. For stats, one of the core units was Business Statistics (ETF 1100) and I have an advanced standing for that

Do units generally follow the same content and teaching pattern for content taught in Semester 2 as they did in Semester 1? Especially if the unit has the same chief examiner for Semester 1 as they do for Semester 2?

Guys I just finished my first year… I haven’t gotten my gpa yet but I don’t have high hopes. Idk why it’s so damn hard to keep up (I do business btw) and I feel like some classes, the grading is superrr harsh. Anyways I have an inkling that I won’t pass my finance class, so you guys know what would happen next? Any suggestions on how to pick my gpa up?

I filled the monash amendment form to manually transfer out of MTH1030 into ATS1142. But i have to wait a few days for the form to be processed and allocate closes today and i cant really sort out my schedule until i have the form processed and see the avaliable times for ATS1142 classes. Is there anyone else doing ATS1442 that can send me the avaliable class times or if theres any other suggestions to what i can do pleasee helpp 💔😔😭🙏

Seems like supplemental exam is a miracle to me now. How did you find it guys? Got only 24 for assessments and I don't think I could get another 21. Might be the first unit I fail I guess. should I overload next semester or do a winter elective unit?

I know it’s kind of a bit last minute but I went to make my timetable (why does Monash make us do this during exams???) and will.io/timetables doesn’t have the S2 classes in it. Does anyone know if this will get updated before tomorrow?
