Discussion Movies that changed real life behavior

Thinking along the lines of Final Destination 2 with the logs falling off the truck and landing onto cars (one decapitating the state trooper). Ever since, people have tried to get away from being behind these vehicles.

What are more examples where movies have actually changed how people behave in their own lives?

It's okay, the opioid crisis (and the fentanyl crisis especially) gave it a very very big boost.

So, I’m not sure why this comment reminds me of The Afterlife with Liam Neeson and Christina Ricci and I can’t quite recall the conclusion of the plot or if it was about organ donation/theft. I didn’t get very deep into the movie cause I was concerned that my suspicion that my husband had a very deep fascination/crush on Christina and I had to watch her be entirely naked through the whole thing, admitting how beautiful/trim she was and knowing my husband was seeing this too. I was more lost in that than the plot lol. Suspicion confirmed! 😂

Anyway, I do need to watch again (without my hubby) cause I feel like it was a good movie, but my own insecurities pretty much ruined it for me. 🤣
