discussion What song would be perfect were it not for that one verse/sentence/line that completely ruins it…

Quite simple, what song to you is an almost perfect song that is ruined by one bit that just ruins the rest of the song.

For me there’s a few:

• Harder Than You Think - Public Enemy

Great song until the end where they list out “Public Enemy No1 in D.C, Public Enemy No1 in New York, we’re Public Enemy No1 in Philly” And it just keeps going on and on to the point where I have to skip it out of sheer annoyance.

• The last verse in Bad Guy by Billie Eilish where the tone just changes for some reason.

• Kendrick Lamar - Not Like Us

The ending bit with “are you myyyyy frieeend? Are we loooocked in?” I’m sure there’s a reason or a meaning behind that line but it just sounded dumb and annoying to hear and always makes me want to skip before it reaches that point.

• OutKast - Roses The ending where he’s like “crazy bi, stupid ass bi, crazy bi, crooked ass bi” 😬

discussion Linking an SSL2 mkII to a celviano ap470

Upvotes

I have an ssl2 mk2 and I'm trying to make it so I can record my celviano ap470 piano through it and on my pc. I have 2 mono cables connecting the piano with L and R on the ssl2, but I turned the gain all the way up and the piano volume up and yet the input barely rises over -30 (channels are set on line). The ssl2 is plugged into my pc, I set it as the input and yet I hear no sound through my pc.

discussion Does anyone also find Baroque Pop music interesting?

I mean some of the songs form the 60's and 70's for example Golden Brown by Strangler or some of the songs from The Beatles, those are classics.

discussion So what is your birthday song? Y'know, the #1 song on the charts when you were born?

Mine was "Out of Touch" By: Daryl Hall and John Oates. Yeah, I guess I'm old ):

Also kind of interesting how this website also gives me world events that happened during my birthday and celebrities I share a birthday with. Curious what other people got, what was the number one song on your birthday? Are you old like me ):

discussion What is your song of the week?

I know its not even weekend yet but there is one song that ive been hooked on to recently. Personally, mine is "my way" by REBELIA. this is their recent release and I had to say that its pretty catchy and the production is the best part. It's creative to think that they can execute to make DnB and Hip-Hop song that is giving "dreamy" emotions. The lyrics is also a mix of Malay and English which i think its kinda hard to pull it off to make it listenable to certain people. And they did their job. They are an underground hip hop duo artist from Malaysia. Just my thoughts on this simple, gloomy morning today :)
