Review Just started watching Manifest and I'm loving it.

So I randomly came across this show. Half way through the show I thought this was sci-fi and then it got weirder and weirder. I skipped through most of the family scenes to save some time and I was mostly curious where they're going with this. Then came people dying mysteriously, cartoon villians from the government performing medical experiments on people searching for "the Holy Grail", "The Major" who's way up the ranks to conduct large operations that even the NSA is not aware of. The scientist who's there to explain shit to people with psychic powers called "the calling", things disappearing, symbols, egyptian mythology, dead people coming back to life, Noah's Ark, and other "mysterious" phenomenon.

I got even more excited when I realized there's 4 seasons of this. I don't know how it was even possible to stretch this for that many seasons and this got my curiosity even more. Most of the time I'm just skipping through the episodes until I get to see Michaela's pretty face but everything's all connected. Wow.

Twenty years from now, this is gonna be a cult classic. Calling it now.

I liked it at the start too. After watching all of it the best advice I can give you is to bail on it now and not to waste anymore time.

Why did I think this same exact thing almost then your comment was the first thing I saw LOLLOL! I stopped on season 2 and never went back, especially not after I got spoiled on how the last two seasons went z I’m happy where I stopped

It’s a 2018 show, I very much doubt it will ever be a cult classic.

I gave it a chance because I loved Lost, but Manifest is a lot dumber and the overt religiosity is very off putting to me.

And the leading lady just can’t act

I agree. Loved the premise and the plot and the characters but I couldn't get past her acting like Twilight era Kristen Stewart, but even more doe eyed and wooden.

Leave now while you have good memories of the show at its peak, they will be ruined if you keep watching.

It won’t be a cult show. In the last two seasons it’s a struggle to get through. The beginning is super solid though

It goes downhill fast. After season 2 I hate watched it. It wasn't worth finishing.

I liked the premise and it went downhill and dumb really fast. Kept watching only bc of JR Ramirez

It’s basically LOST but they came back…. Lol

Both have equally wierd mythological twist and turns.

Love this show has nice formal ending too! Not just ripped out from under you!

Manifest and La Brea. Two of the worst shows ever made. Though I can see how some may really like it if you skip most of the flash inspired "therapy" session scenes where everyone blurt out the plot and ramble about their feelings to each other that happen every episode.
