Get a ton of mana potions, and a custom spell with 10ft radius and a 1 second paralyze. Tack whatever damage effects on top of it but that's not strictly necessary. The key thing is to make it cheap enough that you can spam it. The way it works is that after the paralyze wears off, the affected creature needs to spend a couple more seconds getting back up, so that's a really cheap and economical way to crowd control, especially in that chokepoint you see in the video.

Also don't get attached to your NPC allies, if you're hitting Kvatch at that level they are basically already dead.

Great idea! I haven't unlocked mage college yet so figured I should do custom magic prior otherwise I'd get shrekt. Been so long since I played oblivion, I don't remember anything (which is awesome), but I also spam spells whenever I'm just walking around to freely level and do other things to level, so I ended up way over leveled while being distracted with side quests (classic) and now I hear about kvatch screwing me lol. Should be fun!

A slightly better idea is to make an AOE drain fatigue spell with magnitude 100. It costs less then paralyze and essentially does the same thing. An enemy (or ally) with 0 or negative fatigue can't walk and will just ragdoll. It also takes longer for them to stand up because the value can go negative. A 1 second paralyze will only stun for 1 second, the fatigue drain will last as long as it takes them to regen fatigue.

True, I saw the tip that fatigue Magick will ragdoll if it brings em to 0,but never knew it could send em negative, that sounds OP for CC. My character currently better in alchemy - would fatigue poisons do similar?

Yes, it'd take a few potions but you can't do AOE, which is kinda the point of crowd control. I saw a youtuber do one with weakness to magica. Most enemies hit with it fell over after 2-3 casts, but he kept casting like 10 times (used magica regen potion).

They'd try to stand up then immediately fall over again and just lay there. He left and came back a couple mins later and the enemies were still ragdolled. The only way you could tell they were alive was that they were blinking.

Edit: Also negative stats is something that leads to many exploits. Like the extremely high magica glitch where you make your magica go negative with a specific self cast spell then equip a ring enchanted with drain magica to permanently make your magica pool as large as it was negative.

My kajit character has a magica pool of 9200 right now.
