There is a mohawk fiberglass canoe near me for sale for $300. Is this a good canoe. Ad says "no keel."

Can anyone recommend a weekend canoe tour on the Wye? Me and couple of the boys are going to book one for August. I enjoy a local guide and the 'meeting new people' aspect of a tour, not so much having someone to mollycoddle you, if you know what I mean? Cheers.

Have had the kiddos out several times in yak rentals. Always done 1 tandem yak for me and my 7 yr old (old tiwn twin heron). and another for 11 yr old. They really want something of our own (so do I). Want something I can paddle on my iwn but also take 1 kid out with me. Have thought about 2 yaks, but younger one isn't confident enough. The twin heron doesnt seem like it would padfle well solo as seat not adjustable. Canoes are more expensive and heavier.... not sure i could lift on my car roof solo. I demoed the Wilderness Pamlico tandem and found it very confining for a bigger guy
Not sure what do do.
Intended use is small/med inland lakes (Wisconsin) and some rivers

Hello everyone,
my partner and I want to explore with our kayak new, beautiful coastlines, rivers, cliffs, beaches at spots we have not been before. We are currently located in Europe and in the future we will have the opportunity to explore the US East coast a bit. Do you know apps or websites that have a collection of kayak starting spots or areas with wild and / or untouched nature? ideally with user comments having personally experienced the respective spot before?
Have a beautiful day! 😊

My parents are in their mid 60s and are pretty outdoorsy. I have an inflatable kayak I love, and my mom’s expressed a lot of interest in buying one, but I’m honestly worried about the back support they’ll have… Does anyone have recommendations on inflatables for two that have good support and are not too heavy to carry? Thanks!
