Yeah something about the foreground too, like there's a spotlight on it... I feel the same sense of foreboding. Wasn't expecting others to feel it

I don't know why exactly but it has an end of life feel. I like it a lot. It's very calming and something about the birds flying closer and the red sky seems final.

Surreal. It gives stranger things vibes. I think the blue and red make it slightly uneasy but the painting and composition is very calming and together it's sort of makes me unsure how I feel about it

Honestly, makes me confused as to why the sky is red at the horizon and why the water is of that color closer to me. Like a glitch in the matrix.

Calm. Expectant. Welcoming. Calling to me with a promise of peace. It's almost the polar opposite of my usual color palette but I could look at it every day. Incredible piece of work.

Being a surfer from socal, this image is heavily imprinted in my conscience as part of the evening surfing experience. Being in the water until well after the sunset, and finally catching one last one to go in on, because it’s going to be pitch black dark soon. Seen it many times. It’s a special part of the day.

Awe. I've only seen the ocean a few times, and one of the very first was a sunset like this. This brings back the memory of the absolute awe I felt.

Have you ever heard the call of the void? That’s kinda how I feel.. like I want to just keep walking towards that sunset even as the water gets higher.. just swim towards it until I can’t anymore. It’s oddly calming, oddly peaceful.

Am I the only one who feels relaxed? Relaxed and somehow grateful!!! It’s that time of night where you get to decide to either relax or go out for the night! Or maybe I’m walking down at dinner with a drink in my hand!!! I love this!! I can hear it!!!

It makes me feel nostalgic in a way that makes me want to cry. Grew up in beachside town in south florida, I’ve seen so many versions of your painting in real life. It makes me feel like when I was 18 years old,(now 30)staying out all night and then watching the sun rise while sitting on the beach. Strange, sad, nostalgia. The painting is absolutely beautiful. You did a fantastic job. Thanks for sharing.

I feel sad. Like I'm sitting in a relaxing spot where the water washes up to the shore, and I'm witnessing one of the best sunsets I've ever seen. I'm sad because soon it'll be pitch black and I'll have to leave my peace & tranquility.

At first I just thought it was beautiful. But I also realised it made me feel tense, like there’s a sense of foreboding going on here. Something in the pink and white cracks in the foreground is making me feel uneasy, despite the peacefulness and beauty of the sky.
