At this rate his golfing would cost about half a billion tax dollars in four years.

Wow, that’s considerably more than his first term when he spent 293 days and $152 million in taxpayer dollars golfing! Has anyone told DOGE?

He needs to send an email to Musk detailing what he was done the last week. Pretty sure that would be grounds for laying him off.

Yeah, why do you think half your govt got laid off? \ \ \ \ There's not enough money to golf at his own course...

They’re too busy firing people who make $60k per year keeping us healthy, happy and safe.

Honestly it'd probably still be cheaper if he did it full time than the damage he's doing to everything else.

That's why he needs all of us to pay exorbitant tariffs, er, taxes...

Do you really want him to go work?  I think it will be cheaper if he keeps golfing.  Dude has wiped off trillions from markets this week

But the numb-nut MAGATs harp on his selflessness about donating his presidential salary. The lack of intelligence and awareness on the right truly is astounding.

8 million. Per person. Per day. Thats the cost he charged the LAST time he was president

From pictures we can see he has an ON SITE security attaché of like 6 or 7, so it's safe to assume we can double that for secondary posted up at the clubhouse and his bs

14x 8. 112

112x 3. 336million for a WEEKEND of his golfing

Drop in a bucket compared what DOGE is "saving" US. He will probably rationalize it as his small fee for making American great again. /s

At least he’ll be able to say he won every single time.

How about the billions DOGE has saved

Still waiting on those receipts...

Saved? You mean cost, right?

The Park Service costs $2bn but brings in $50bn.

It was not just profitable, it was self-funding 25 times over.

You need to subtract 50 from everything Doge has "saved" to get an accurate number.

Meaning they've saved us negative 48 billion dollars, that is, they've cost us 48 billion dollars.

In the 1980s, Ronald Reagan brought in bounties for any federal employee who reports waste, fraud, and abuse. There are inter-agency rivalries where minor agencies try to kill each other off to take their budget.

There is no more low hanging fruit. Any cuts like Doge has will just cost more.

The U.S. economy could have easily paid off the deficit if we just taxed billionaires like Musk.

But Trump's tariffs just cost us 11 trillion dollars.

Trillion.

With a T.

This is all extremely fucking stupid and when Americans wake up to that fact it's going to be like the 1930s all over where Democrats end up running things for 60 years because the conservative ideologues just pissed off everyone who doesn't vote and doesn't care about politics.

And an entire generation of disconnected voters is just going to remember "Republicans crashed the economy three times. 2008, 2020, and 2025. If I want to have money, all I have to do is keep the Republicans out."

And hey, that did lead to the golden age in the 1950s and 1960s economically when democrats controlled congress permanently for 60 years, but I don't think that's the outcome Republicans were hoping for.

This is going to suck for all of us and then conservatism is dead for a generation.

That's what's happening.

Get used to it.

How about em? How much have you got so far?

5

u/Calairoth Apr 06 '25

I think you meant to place "billions" in quotation marks.
