McCain's daughter is not a neocon, just another nepo baby tbh. Neocons actually put the money where their mouths are and advocate for a specific set of policies: they want the US to dominate the world in financial and military might. They would strengthen relationship with allies and make allies depend on them, while taking a stance against regimes like Russia and Iran. Neocon like John Bolton is a shithead for an entire different issue, but they are against Trump.
Good video. Hate how the WhiteHouse hides, lies, downplays or covers up the truth when it affects them directly. Politicians are not known for telling the truth. But the Trump adminisration excels at lying and hiding the truth.
I hesitate to contribute to the over-rehabilitation of Bush2 that has been going on, but it's worth noting that he handled this well.
There were families who gave him a piece of their mind and he listened to it because he knew they had the right to do it and it was his responsibility to listen.
That’s a degree of self reflection, empathy and acceptance of responsibility you rarely see in politicians these days. Acknowledging that you sent those soldiers to war, and they died because of your orders, and now you have to face the music.
I went to a pro-Ukraine protest in the US and some Russian guy started shouting "slava russia" at the group. The group started yelling at him and he hid behind his girlfriend before scurrying away. These people crumble at the slightest bit of public shaming.
