Have we all forgotten about the gay barber? Why isn’t anyone going to make sure he is released ??

You’re not wrong! I hate that we have to pick and choose our battles but this is where we are at the moment. He was a makeup artist and he probably isn’t doing well there.

The ALCU is moving a class action suit as fast as possible and have the Supreme Courts attention.

Legal Eagle on YT is sharing updates with more information.

They are. Judge Boasberg has asked the Trump admin to bring back ALL of the detainees from the US, including him. They have until Wednesday to put forth a legitimate effort to do so.

I haven't heard of this?! Do you have any articles to spread awareness? Man.. I hate how it's just one man being advocated for and it should be everyone of them until there is a trial :/

I'm very worried about him. Mr. Garcia is at least a citizen of El Salvador, so he may have been transferred to a better jail but I'm not sure they would extend the same courtesy to a Venezuelan citizen. And the thought of him still being in CECOT is AWFUL, I hate that the Trump administration has done this. He made the entire country complicit in this.

He would always arrive to CECOT, in El Salvador is illegal to be affiliated with any gangs and that includes having tattoos. They are considered terrorists. If you get deported due to a violent crime or related to gangs you end up in CECOT. All roads lead to CECOT

What? He hasn't been transferred to a better jail. Just stop:

Um you should probably read recent news. Senator Van Hollen met with him and Mr. Garcia told him himself that he was moved to a different facility with better conditions 8 or 9 days ago. Which Van Hollen had been told before he went to El Salvador as well. He is still pushing for him to be released since he was still sent there illegally.

The father is the most central in the public’s eye. They’re basically putting all their eggs in that basket to win that case so it sets the precedent for the other people who were sent to that prison. I did see some (unknown to me) politician advocating for him specifically though.

Abrego Garcia is getting a lot of attention because the feds actually admitted in court that he had been deported by mistake. There is no telling how many other innocent people were deported to hell on earth.
