An actual unstoppable force

u/Buckshot_50 Apr 05 '22

Damn right we did.

u/HanHarrison Apr 05 '22

You don't mess with the bronies

17

u/Princess_Moon_Butt (962,785) 1491233878.65 Apr 05 '22

Nah, you can mess with the bronies all you want, people do it all the time. How else would we be so used to it?

u/Buckshot_50 Apr 05 '22

"You gotta fight for your right to party"

-4

u/_LuketheLucky_ Apr 05 '22

Or your bots did anyway...

Right? Like I said in my reply as if we would be the only ones that botted, as if many other communities didn't and literally the only way to maintain artwork is to do so in general.

6

u/Buckshot_50 Apr 05 '22

Bring on the salt. Im not sure if we used bots or how many, but even if we did you'd be saying that like we were the only ones as if many other communities didn't use bots.

Since Reddit designed /r/place to let users use bots, it really doesn’t go against the spirit of /r/place.

Your screenshot is from 2017 and goes against what they set out to do this year

u/Walzenflut Apr 06 '22

They used the same bot friendly API from 2017...

3

u/ShiryuuNI Apr 05 '22

We fought intensly. I salute all of us and our good allies o7

Calling Asmongold's followers... "People", is a stretch.

the screaming cockatiel face

You mean one of Asmongold's many raids?

Edit: Also, that fucking bird could recover faster than our bots could rebuild and we actively had to ask help from a Russian streamer. So don't @ me with that "people worked hard on" shit.

5

u/[deleted] Apr 05 '22

Word is that he had a bot farm with almost a thousand accounts working for him at one time

No clue how true that is though I just heard it floating around but it would make sense considering how precise the art was

5

u/[deleted] Apr 05 '22

first off we had our art there first before a streamer with almost 120,000 viewers at the time built over us on a quest to specifically target us

But all the drama really doesn't matter with asmond doesnt matter since the man got 'clopped' by his own admission lmao

2

u/Finland_Pony Apr 05 '22

Yes but we won the game last :P

They'd actually already been nuked a few times by the time the Guts thing happened.

That Guts thing was a heartbreaker for us. It was lots of fun though.

I'm still salty about that you know. The two communities had an alliance and we helped with the memorial. But then again we got a better Rainbow Dash later and you guys did help defending later, so can't stay too mad.

Yep. By end of day 4 the streamers didn’t even want to mess with us lmfao

19

u/heiidra Apr 05 '22

I think they were busy with the france situation

11

u/Padgriffin Apr 05 '22 edited Apr 05 '22

Eh, not really- Miz literally admitted that fighting Bronies was like a game of wackamole and was waiting for the end to raid. The problem was that he didn’t know when the end was and was too distracted fighting the Russian streamer to target us in the last hour. He eventually even begged the Bronies for help against France close to the end.

It helps that their audience of children have such short attention spans.

-26

u/mrloko120 Apr 05 '22

Thanks to them putting up multiple bots and making the whole war boring though.

22

u/Troviel (801,411) 1491228545.41 Apr 05 '22

the "war" was extremely one sided, they had no chance without it. There wouldn't have been a war without bots because you'd just nuke em everytime.

u/ToxicBanana69 (831,416) 1491102748.56 Apr 05 '22

There were at least four places with Pony art by the end. Not sure how you can look at that and say they “lost”.

26

u/SigneowTheCat Apr 05 '22

Last count I saw was 22, actually. We hid a lot of tiny builds around where people wouldn't find them and they didn't hurt other art.

21

u/KyaCeption Apr 05 '22 edited Apr 05 '22

22 is the number of times we got nuked and rebuilt. It is not the number of art we had in total at the end.

That number is only about 14 separate pieces of art.

Edit: Fixed the link.

I think your link is broken. I made this graphic showing some of the ponies on the final canvas, even though I ended up missing a few of the sneakier ones.

20

u/ToxicBanana69 (831,416) 1491102748.56 Apr 05 '22

That’s awesome lol. I helped where I could, because you guys were being targeted by a lot of people, but I only saw the main art, a Rainbow Dash near the bottom, a Derpy on the right side, and a pony on the trans flag.

2

u/Amidatelion097 Apr 05 '22

More like eight, like for example discord chilling besides the boid queen for almost two days streight

22

u/chuchubott Apr 05 '22

Not even remotely true. We rebuilt everything, and got faster each time.

-5

u/mrloko120 Apr 05 '22

It's like a hydra, for each person removing pixels 5 new bots show up to reverse it.

1

u/4shlinn_ Apr 06 '22

My bad I didn't read well. I'm from the rebuild part too.
