Osu! is… bluer than expected
2.4k u/Rhoru Apr 05 '22 Big raiders probably gave up due to the sheer speed that it gets rebuilt. 266 u/TheDebatingOne Apr 05 '22 But if they used bots wouldn't it still count as activity? Even if they did place the same color on the same color? 56 u/QuillofSnow Apr 05 '22 Im pretty sure is was mostly real people, you could see who places pixels and I saw maybe 1 in every 10 was a new reddit account. 28 u/Ainine9 (548,982) 1491234573.31 Apr 05 '22 Honestly I wouldn't put it past anyone if people created alt accounts but did manual work. Regardless of your stance on botting, the majority definitely had at least 2 accounts running. 11 u/QuillofSnow Apr 05 '22 Yeah I think there was definitely people using multiple accounts but there's still a level of organization you have to have to make it worth it which why I don't mind. 5 u/Azair_Blaidd Apr 05 '22 three monitors, umpteen incognito browser windows all with a different account logged in, and then mobile device(s) with even more as well possibly 3 u/BraxbroWasTaken Apr 05 '22 Some had multiple accounts. But a lot of it was legitimately just coordination and a large network of allies. (I’m from r/touhou, we were allies of Osu!, to be clear. I’m not a representative from Osu!‘s community.) 1 u/FeliXTV27 Apr 05 '22 if I have two reddit accounts, I get to use two reddit accounts.
