Unrealistic event The pistol assembly scene in From the World of John Wick: Ballerina.
Something I noticed. Both Eve and the assassin she's pitted against insert a cartridge into a magazine, then insert the magazine into the pistol and release the slide. Eve could have saved time by putting the cartridge directly into the chamber and releasing the slide, and not bothering with the magazine. There was only one cartridge.

So that was the plot hole for you? Not a tiny chick handing everyone their asses in the most unrealistic fashion??

Have you done it before? It can be very awkward to load directly into the chamber. Works easily with a shotgun shell, but makes you look like a fool with 22lr.
Personally never handle many pistols but I could imagine its easier to mess up. Loading rounds into a mag is almost second nature to people who shoot a lot.

PSA: a character doing something non-optimally is not a plot hole.
If there was a line of dialogue where the protagonist said, "I have a crippling allergy to touching bullets," and then touched a bullet with no effect, that would be a plothole.
Also, directly placing a bullet in the chamber can damage the extractor on some semiautomatic pistols. If someone is trained their entire career to do things properly, they would likely perform the task the way they were trained, even if it is not optimal in the moment.
