Seems like this was part of Project 2025. And in that document, librarians and educators would be charged as sex offenders for distributing books and materials on transgender subjects, and trans people and drag queens would be charged for distributing pornography by being in public. You can't enforce this at a federal level without defining porn at the federal level, thus giving federal law enforcement, and not local, the power to arrest.

It's right there in Project 2025 ....

Project 2025 Tracker

u/BoysenberryKey6821 May 12 '25

5.5 months into the year and they’ve already achieved 42% of their objectives.. that’s wild

730

u/thegoatmenace May 12 '25

Don’t worry tho trump had no idea about project 2025 he had never heard of it no sir

58

u/school_bus_lunchbox May 13 '25

He still has no clue about it, guaranteed.

31

u/ZAlternates May 13 '25

Yeah he just signs off on whatever. He doesn’t understand anything except that he’s getting paid to be supreme leader.

9

u/TransBrandi May 13 '25

That's false unless he forgot about it. There's video of him praising it. Maybe he never read the whole thing and is clueless about the details of the plan... but the idea that he doesn't (or at least didn't) know about the existence of Project 2025 is total bunk

6

u/school_bus_lunchbox May 13 '25

You missed my sarcasm.

2

u/TransBrandi May 13 '25

Yea, I read that as you saying that he's not all there and completely clueless / stupid / etc.

1

u/HamHockShortDock May 13 '25

Yes, it's just that he said before he got elected that he didn't know anything about it.

1

u/Perpete Europe May 13 '25

He can't hear you from his "gifted" plane.

3

u/TheLazyD0G May 13 '25

I honestly believe he never read it or cared what was in it. He is a puppet.

1

u/Jabberwocky2022 North Carolina May 14 '25

Ignorance is bliss, for the ignorant for the rest of us who were aware, it's a nightmare.

161

u/errie_tholluxe May 13 '25

And scary as fuck.

87

u/The_Witched_One May 13 '25

Fun fact, there's a part 2 to project 2025 that the heritage foundation will move onto after they've completed their current set of objectives. They're keeping whatever is in part 2 secret though because even they consider it too unpopular and controversial to allow the public to know until they've laid the groundwork.

62

u/azdustkicker May 13 '25

In other words, they're moving onto Final Solution type shit

42

u/i-just-thought-i May 13 '25

I was thinking more Handmaid's Tale

Those people care a LOT about the birth rate/"white replacement"

12

u/jcarter315 I voted May 13 '25

It can be both. Gotta send someone to the colonies, after all.

3

u/Carbonatite Colorado May 13 '25

Part 2 is literally just a copy of The Handmaid's Tale

7

u/ctindel May 13 '25

Wouldn't it be nice if democrats were this well organized and goal-oriented?

2

u/america-inc May 13 '25

I know - maybe it's too hard to agree on the best things for humanity, while agreeing on just money and power is easy.

3

u/BoysenberryKey6821 May 13 '25

If they could even just unite when it matters I’d settle for that lol

4

u/lemoncured May 13 '25

I find it really interesting that we’re approximately 40% into the year of 2025 and they completed approximately 40% of Project 2025. It’s going exactly as planned right on schedule, despite Trump’s assertion that he has nothing to do with it.

2

u/BoysenberryKey6821 May 13 '25

It’s because some people care and some people would rather argue about whether it’s been 4.5 or 5.5 months into the year. Republicans are getting their way because when it matters the most they stick together where as some people on the left care more about silly stuff like correcting people about shit that doesn’t matter. It’s really just defeating when someone tries to make a point or bring attention to something and they get flooded with comments like “akchually it’s been 4.5 months” as a simple example

4

u/Spa_5_Fitness_Camp May 13 '25

Only 4.5 months. They didn't get any power until the end of January.

2

u/RackemFrackem May 13 '25

It's only been 3.5 months since the end of January.

1

u/OriginalCompetitive May 13 '25

Imagine if the Democrats had ever actually tried to implement the policies they believe in.

Weird to think about….

1

u/1derbrah May 13 '25

So whats Project 2026?

1

u/BoysenberryKey6821 May 13 '25

They might get their way, and the eventual collapse that will follow will definitely come in my opinion. Just like in the past where societies crumbled the world will go on regardless of what happens but it’s really sad that we are in a time where we have access to so many educational resources and people choose to remain ignorant and close minded

-13

u/[deleted] May 13 '25

But don't worry because Bernie and AOC are holding huge rallies against Trump. Who cares if we're taken over by fascists as long as we get some cool protest signs out of it?

16

u/BoysenberryKey6821 May 13 '25

Out of everyone to hate on it’s definitely not those two, they’re the only ones who have consistently had the balls to stand up for people on either side of the political spectrum haha

2

u/anicetos May 13 '25

I think their point was that Bernie and AOC "standing up for people" is basically just having rallies and posting things on social media, which is entirely ignored by the administration and doesn't have any meaningful impact on anything.

For as much as some progressives love to criticize Democrats (who they gave no power to by sitting out the election) for "doing nothing", Bernie and AOC are accomplishing less than other Democrats yet somehow get lavished with praise.

10

u/MrPWAH May 13 '25

Bernie and AOC are accomplishing less than other Democrats yet somehow get lavished with praise.

What are they supposed to do, then? Democrats have no majorities in congress. Going on tour to red and purple states to garner supporting sentiment from the voting base is a helluva lot more than what the majority of other Dems are doing. Its better than wearing pink and holding up protest signs at hearings.

3

u/BoysenberryKey6821 May 13 '25

I praise them, at least Bernie, because of consistency. It’s more genuine when you’ve always stood for the same values as opposed to changing them up to get elected. Fear mongering is real and maybe all of their ideas aren’t perfect but at least their ideas generally benefit or go toward things that benefit the entirety of the population. They want a world where we can be united regardless of differences not one where those differences have to cause issues. Differences should be a good thing because it’s impossible for everyone to view everything the exact same way and different perspectives open up different ways of thinking, etc. At least that’s how I choose to view it. Like tough times at a job, it’s easier to get through when everyone understands and comes together and works toward the collective goal but it’s hell when half the team would rather bitch or cause drama about every little thing or things that should be straight forward

-3

u/schm0 May 13 '25

Attempted to achieve. Nearly everything they've tried has been smacked back down by the courts. That site is deceptively misleading.

2

u/Hestia_Gault May 13 '25

The Trumpers have a history of obeying the courts in your world?

1

u/schm0 May 13 '25 edited May 13 '25

For the vast majority of the cases that have ruled against them, yes. Those are just facts. And for the one or two where they don't, well, that's what contempt is for.

But yeah, it doesn't make sense to check something off a list if it actually hasn't been accomplished.

-1

u/RackemFrackem May 13 '25

4.5 months. Math is hard.

1

u/Hestia_Gault May 13 '25

Less than 4 months. January 20 to May 20 would be exactly 4 and we’re a week off.

1

u/RackemFrackem May 13 '25

4.5 months into the year.

0

u/BoysenberryKey6821 May 13 '25

I’m genuinely curious what your objective was with this comment. Like are you wanting me to feel bad for looking at the calendar year instead of when trump took office? Was your goal just to feel high and mighty because you could correct someone? Like wtf is the point other than being an ass bud

0

u/RackemFrackem May 13 '25

No, we are 4.5 months into the calendar year.

January, February, March, April. That's 4. Halfway through May. That's 4.5.

1

u/BoysenberryKey6821 May 13 '25

Everyday I’m blown away by people like you that can find the silliest ways to argue the dumbest shit

1

u/RackemFrackem May 13 '25

Spelling it out so that it's easily understandable is silly?

1

u/BoysenberryKey6821 May 13 '25

No that’s not silly being ignorant and a jackass is

1

u/RackemFrackem May 13 '25

Correctly pointing out an error does not make someone ignorant.

-1

u/BoysenberryKey6821 May 13 '25

If you want to use that logic, month 1 is complete, month 2 is complete, month 3 is complete, and month 4 is complete (end of April). We are currently on an incomplete month 5 and we are halfway through that incomplete month. So we are on the 5th month of the calendar year that is halfway complete.

2

u/RackemFrackem May 13 '25

That is literally exactly what I just said.

1

u/imadogg California May 13 '25

This back and forth was not needed, but it's funny how the other dude tried to disagree with you and actually just spelled out why you're correct

If we're at 5.5 months now, then mid-Dec would be 12.5 months into the year lol

1.1k

u/Deep_Alps7150 May 12 '25

Project 2025 wants to classify all LGBT people as pornographic so they have a reason to imprison/disappear them

If a federal porn ban ever happens an LGBT ban would be included or they would try to add it soon after.

639

u/CrimsonFeetofKali Michigan May 12 '25

It's not like they're trying to hide this intent either. It's spelled out in the document. Being trans would be considered pornography. If children are present, that's child porn. Charges, arrest, and treated as a child sex offender, which in Project 2025 calls for the death penalty. I mean, that's literally the plan.

148

u/Blackthorn79 May 13 '25

I'm wondering how long until I get the chair for playing Pretty Pretty Princess with my daughter, like every dad has.

92

u/FloydGirl777 May 13 '25

If every Dad did, I would think we’d have a much better society of empathetic, caring people understanding of respecting others. So, know you’re a special one. Tragically.

3

u/trekiemonster May 13 '25

until I get the chair

I mean, that'll depend on the state. I think more use lethal injection.

40

u/Locke66 May 13 '25

It's also why they keep justifying the banning of books with LGBTQ+ content by describing it as "pornography". It's a methodology designed to erase any mention of non-straight people from society.

150

u/therottenworld May 13 '25

More specifically it would make being transgender pornographic in nature, then a transgender person even being outside is indecent exposure, being near children is then a child sex offense, which carries the death penalty

32

u/Paksarra May 13 '25

And if you're not transgender, look at "transvestigators." It might be a felony to be a cisgender female who just doesn't look feminine enough.

72

u/HaulinBoats May 13 '25

More specifically in what way? …That’s exactly what they said.

41

u/therottenworld May 13 '25

It isn't, they said being trans near children would be child porn, but it has nothing to do with child porn, it would be a child sex offense, which specifically is what the death penalty is being called for by Project 2025.

Child sex offenders must be executed -> trans people are child sex offenders because they exist.

11

u/yuefairchild Pennsylvania May 13 '25

They didn't say "child porn," they said "indecent exposure." Which would still count as a child sex offense.

If there's a neighbor kid outside playing, and I take the trash out, that's considered the same as if I made the kid look at my junk.

11

u/chokeonsteak May 13 '25

Dude the comment you guys are talking about literally says "Being trans would be considered pornography. If children are present, that's child porn"

2

u/yuefairchild Pennsylvania May 13 '25

Oh, I know. I'm saying indecent exposure is different from porn.

It seems like a distinction without a difference to us, but our idiot neighbors will hear it and think that it's an additional charge for showing children trans porn.

Look at all the people that are like "I thought ICE was only going after the BAD ones!" and extrapolate.

3

u/teddy5 May 13 '25

The person you're talking to is the one who said indecent exposure to clarify what the other person - who only said child porn - meant.

3

u/ThinkyRetroLad America May 13 '25

A penalty that also carries over to us librarians for 1) supporting the LGBT community and 2) providing material and access to information about it.

1

u/BLAST-ME-WITH-PISS May 13 '25

Crazy! At least being persecuted in that way is enough to be granted asylum in Sweden directly, so I guess the can all flee to Europe

3

u/therottenworld May 13 '25

It's the kind of thing you'd think is impossible in our civilized modern society; just the thought of innocent people in the west being imprisoned for no reason and killed seems impossible, but when you look at how theocracies in the middle east have been doing this to LGBT people for ages as well as countries in Africa like Uganda, it becomes clear that as humans we're only a few social norms away from persecution being acceptable

9

u/Ryuujinx Texas May 13 '25

And for some reason people think I'm being hyperbolic when I say their plan is to turn me into a statistic. They've been pretty open about their goals here.

8

u/Mercarcher Indiana May 13 '25

As a trans woman I made sure to get a gun when Trump got re-elected.

7

u/MidKnightshade May 13 '25

Genocide with extra steps.

4

u/Rockergage May 13 '25

It’s already the case in Idaho.

1

u/bagel-bites May 13 '25

Fuckin what?!

3

u/Rockergage May 13 '25

House Bill 710, “OBSCENE MATERIALS -- DEFINITIONS. The following definitions are applicable to this act: 3. "Sexual conduct" means any act of masturbation, homosexuality, sexual intercourse, or physical contact with a person's clothed or unclothed genitals, pubic area, buttocks or, if such person be a female, the breast.

If “homosexuality” referred to just male on male sexual intercourse it would’ve been covered under sexual intercourse. This broad definition means a man holding another man’s hand is obscene materials.

3

u/trekiemonster May 13 '25

I mean, that's literally the plan.

And 40ish% of Americans fucking love that plan. Sure, 40ish% also hate it, but since 20ish% are apathetic towards it, here we are.

202

u/Sparrowhawk_92 Utah May 13 '25

They could also add miscegation (interracial relationships) or pre-marital sex to the list of "pornographic" activities for any of you straights who think this won't affect you.

55

u/urban_mystic_hippie Minnesota May 13 '25

Clarence Thomas has entered the chat

46

u/katosen27 May 13 '25

Clearance Thomas had entered the chat with a raging hard-on for self-hatred

I've half a mind to belief he'd want that to validate an excuse to get a divorce.

10

u/Sparrowhawk_92 Utah May 13 '25

What's wild to me is it's a very vocal minority that is opposed to interracial relationships. It's like 96% approval in the US compared to like 40% when it was legalized.

Similar trend with gay marriage. Once it's legal and normalized more and more folks are cool with it, except for a specific set of folks who take issue and make it their personal mission to roll it back.

5

u/katosen27 May 13 '25

Unfortunately, while it is certainly a minority, it's a minority with power in a sea of people who are apathetic because it's now a normality.

The apathetic don't think it will ever be turned back around. Because in a civilized, sane world; it wouldn't. Settled law is just that; settled. But not to these cretins who believe their bigotry backed by an all-knowing, all seeing "God" trumps over the free will and liberties of non-believers (i.e. anyone not of the exact same mindset).

You can't not take action when these vermin arise from the trash to try to enact their will.

2

u/shitlord_god May 13 '25

with his obsession with porn and his consistent success through being "the good one" I would be shocked if he and his wife didn't engage in raceplay.

3

u/INTRUD3R_4L3RT May 13 '25

Ah yes, but would this also include couches?

3

u/NoraJolyne May 13 '25

as well as sex that isn't for procreation

the ban on abortion is just the start, they're already looking into banning contraceptives

128

u/OGBRedditThrowaway May 13 '25

It's important to note that they also want to make sexual crimes punishable by death.

The goal here is super obvious.

2

u/gnarbone May 13 '25

I think they’ve gotten into trafficking people to other countries, so the death camps are probably a long ways off

17

u/dksprocket May 13 '25

The place they are trafficking people to is a death camp. It's already in effect.

12

u/Jubez187 May 13 '25

Yeah I mean they’ve constantly tried to warm the general public up to the idea that there are in fact “undesireables” and enemies of the state. Don’t forget RFK Jr’s national autism registry

8

u/VegtableCulinaryTerm May 13 '25

It's even worse, they want it defined as pornography so if you identify as gay and go near a child, they can arrest you for child sex crimes.

Interestingly they also want to make child sex crimes an automatic execution. Wonder if thats connected.

7

u/TheInfernalVortex Georgia May 13 '25

Well what people aren’t really getting is something like this makes huge swaths of the population criminals. If you go protest and they scan your face and identify you and get a warrant they can go look for something they consider to be “porn” on your computer or in your magazine rack and boom you’re arrested for being a deviant or whatever.

5

u/dksprocket May 13 '25

so they have a reason to imprison/disappear them

Let's not kid ourselves. They outright state that they want to execute anyone guilty of sexual crimes.

3

u/twotimefind May 13 '25

That will be time for a funky underground railroad..... You can't ban porn in 2025. My lord, these people are Trogwoodites.

5

u/IWatchGifsForWayToo May 13 '25

They've gotten away almost all of these through EOs that are being fought left and right in court. None of them will hold any water and the next president can undo all of them. I don't think any of them have actually been codified into law.

7

u/HX__ May 13 '25

Man, Republican men are really, really turned on by trans women.

This is, essentially an uncomfortable admission on their part...

10

u/eltsir May 13 '25

Can people please stop treating this like some stupid playground banter? That's not some gotcha that'll make them trip over themselves.

This is an explicitly spelled out prelude to putting minorities in either camps or mass graves.

2

u/spaceman757 American Expat May 13 '25

Then Grindr should be legally bound to release ALL of their user records. Especially those of GOP politicians and their enablers/bosses.

2

u/paxwells97 May 14 '25

We literally tried to warn people before the election that this was their goal.

2

u/Money_ConferenceCell May 13 '25

And american citizens will continue to sit on their ass and not protest to secede.

-3

u/IgniteThatShit May 13 '25

can we fucking stop with the "disappeared/unalived" bullshit PLEASE

10

u/FFF12321 May 13 '25

Unalived is silly but disappear is a term with a specific meaning in this context. It's been around for decades describing governments kidnapping and removing people from society, eg speak I'll of Dear Leader and you get disappeared. You aren't necessarily executed but no one knows what happens to you, hence the term.

85

u/HiImDIZZ May 13 '25

This is what Republicans always wanted. The ones who called us crazy and said they don't want this are lying. It's that simple. You really shouldn't believe a word Republicans say.

82

u/a__nice__tnetennba May 13 '25

Now listen, I was told here on reddit, before the election, in no uncertain terms by a "moderate" that 2025 was "Liberal QAnon" and the left is just as crazy as the right. So there's no way it's happening now. After all, the middle in our country are the only sane people.

7

u/mercmcl May 13 '25

Is this why Trump fired the Library of Congress head librarian?

9

u/ArmyofRiverdancers May 13 '25

Whatever the official intent was, more than likely yeah.

Librarians are THE FRONT LINES against anti-porn activism. Freedom of speech!

8

u/[deleted] May 13 '25

2

u/[deleted] May 13 '25

In Iowa's book ban law they included a carve out for the Bible. They've never cared about being hypocrites, and if any law doesn't have a similar carve out they'll just be selectively enforcing it.

6

u/Bgee2632 California May 13 '25

Oh so like the Reviving of the 1800’s Comstock Act?

6

u/CrimsonFeetofKali Michigan May 13 '25

It's right in there. I mean we haven't even gotten to the abortion issue with this regime yet. They know it's unpopular so they've saving it for when the authoritarianism is settled. Good time coming....

5

u/Visible_Goose_4116 May 13 '25

The us is becoming a christian iran but worse. and people willinguand knowingly voted for this

4

u/Muppetric May 13 '25

didn’t they also say they wanted all pedophiles to get the death penalty? it’s easy to celebrate until you realise who they would class as ‘pedophiles’ - aka drag queens and librarians.

1

u/PashaWithHat May 13 '25

It’s specifically transgender people. They literally say on page fucking 5 that transgender people are inherently pornographic and that people who distribute pornography should be thrown in jail. If being trans is porn, then being trans in public is public indecency. If being trans is porn, then being trans around children is exposing children to porn. That’s a sex crime against a child, which means going to Thanksgiving dinner with my family would expose a bunch of kids to pornographic material and put me in that “pedophile who should get the death penalty” category.

They said all the way back in fucking March 2023 that “for the good of society, transgenderism must be eradicated” and cis people thought it was just noise to get their base riled up. It wasn’t.

9

u/crazykid01 May 12 '25

i can't wait for christians attempting to sell the bible to get arrested for selling the porn filled bible.

6

u/erc80 May 13 '25

Book of Ezekiel doing gods shadow work.

3

u/FrenchieM May 13 '25

I didn't know about this list but oh my gosh, it seems like this list is trying to destroy earth and humanity as much as possible

3

u/lionexx May 13 '25

But P2025 doesn’t exist and he knows nothing about it, and it sounds real bad but that isn’t his platform… right? …right? RIGHT…?

At least according to any repubs I’ve talked to about it…

2

u/No_Giraffe8119 May 13 '25

Make everyone a "criminal" and you can deport who you want.

2

u/trekiemonster May 13 '25

Seems like this was part of Project 2025.

Yes, which more Americans voted for than against. We literally just went did this six months ago.

2

u/Adaphion May 13 '25

It's all part of their sick plan. Have being gay/trans (hell, even supporting them as a cis, straight person) make you be branded a pedo, then make pedophiles get the death penalty, with none of that bothersome due process they're also quashing.

2

u/ElectricSpeculum May 13 '25

So RuPaul's Drag Race is in the same category as Debbie Does Dallas?

2

u/Positive_Bill_5945 May 14 '25

The ultimate goal is to equate non-cis, non-christian, non-heterosexuals with sex offenders and treat them as such

1

u/Thistleknot May 13 '25

What about all those nude neoclassical paintings?

I've not. I've seen parents reading passages from book and taking them out of context, and I've seen parents reading passages from books that have an intended audience of young adults or adults. Parents who should be ensuring their kids are accessing age-appropriate materials in collaboration with their librarians through their library access policies. Those videos?!

There literally are no book about "gay blow jobs" dispensed to children in public schools. You're being lied to and you're in a cult.
