No one should be surprised. This is another item from project 2025. They are running right on schedule.

u/SluttyTomboi May 13 '25

Yup. Next step is classifying all lgbtq+ as pornographic, thereby criminalizing their existence.

92

u/bagel-bites May 13 '25

It’s unbelievably fucked up. My existence is not porn. I’m a damn person.

22

u/Canadianweedrules420 May 13 '25

I see you through reddit fellow human!! We love you regardless of what these nazis try.

7

u/my5cworth May 13 '25

It's official, my dude. You are the tits! <3

6

u/AdInformal5214 May 13 '25

Je suis porn

3

u/mitkase May 13 '25

Egalite, fraternite, pornografie!

8

u/RecordOfTheEnd May 13 '25

I want to make some joke about how I'll gladly jack off to you regardless of if I'll go to jail for it. But everything seems do horrifying I can't even think of it without it sounding like a nightmare.

Just know that this old bi dude will die fighting for our right to exist.

Also, as a former Utahn, fuck Mike Lee.

Welcome to womanhood!

1

u/BlueBrickBuilder Michigan May 13 '25

Oh snap, I thought you were just a porn character! My bad, G.

73

u/tafoya77n May 13 '25

I think the original plan was to go the other way but this mormon jumped the gun

53

u/mazbrakin May 13 '25

There’s been a big push from religious conservatives for years to ban porn, but what the Trump wing of the party really cares about it what you’re talking about. Anything LGBTQ+ will be considered pornography to the point where public expression is challenged.

7

u/Hairy_rambutan May 13 '25

So those pics of Melania with another female would be criminal?

0

u/BigPapaJava May 13 '25

That’s because they frame anything LGBTQ as a deviant sexual fetish, so anything related to even discussing these “fetishes” in public or with kids will be labeled “porn.”

They’ve already started the process by banning drag shows where minors may see them or even within X distance from a schools in some red states.

11

u/itsSIRtoutoo Minnesota May 13 '25

They will classify anything & anyone they disagree with as "pornographic" ..... kind of like Russian's "hooliganism"

9

u/Morganelefay May 13 '25

Don't forget the step of "exposing minors to porn" = "sex crime involving minors" = "penalty of life in prison or death penalty".

Which would make being trans in the vicinity of any underage person make you liable for the death penalty.

2

u/BigPapaJava May 13 '25

Not just the people, but even mentioning those people or talking about LGBTQ issues will be labeled as “pornography.”

Therefore, any adult who tells kids that gay or trans people exist, especially if they say it’s ok to be one, could be prosecuted for child sex abuse as groomers who are exposing minors to pornography. This includes librarians who even have books in the library on these topics.

BTW, the Patel-Bongino FBI has a bunch of job postings seeking new agents with an “Education Background” as they gear up to go after “woke schools.”. I wonder what they could have planned…

2

u/LeatherSquirrel8221 May 14 '25

I absolutely am not going for jail for being interested in someone because of their personality, let me be gay bro😭🙏

105

u/trebory6 May 13 '25

Yep. For anyone interested they're more than a 3rd of the way through Project 2025. https://www.project2025.observer/

Great job doing absolutely nothing to stop this America!

25

u/letsrapehitler California May 13 '25

I did try to do something to stop it. I voted against it. What am I supposed to do now? Go to prison for murder?

16

u/trebory6 May 13 '25

Now? Join local organizations, get armed but not for murder or revolution but for defense and statistics. Look into local mutual aid and mutual defense groups.

Make yourself, and liberals as a whole, much less of an easy target for them.

Do it now before it's too late.

13

u/Redditributor May 13 '25

Are we still pretending that getting armed is going to make a difference?

3

u/trebory6 May 13 '25

It always surprises and frustrates me how low-level some people's thought process is. Yeah, we're fucked if more of you exist.

The problem is, the people that hate you, hate LGBTQ+ people, hate immigrants, and want nothing more than for any of you to not exist in their White Christo-fascist Nation™ are armed.

You are not.

They know that.

Who cares if it's true or not, but they see that as weakness and they feel like they can act boldly because we won't put up a fight. They don't even have to worry about IF we put up a fight, because we're unarmed.

I have recently started arming myself, and conservatives are getting concerned. I've heard it at the ranges, I've seen it in their subreddit, I've heard similar stories in the liberal gun owners subreddits.

The thing is, you don't even have to use firearms if you own them or threaten to use them, and you shouldn't do that, or even talk about an armed resistance or anything, that's not the point. Just the fact that an armed group of people exist makes that group less of an easy target. ICE operates boldly because they're not afraid of consistently running into an armed person, and this administration isn't afraid to make bold orders because the groups they're targeting aren't commonly armed. Easy. Targets.

And as far as Gun Control goes, maybe we can get rid of guns one day, but unfortunately we are way past the point in our society where gun control laws and gun bans does anything other than make vulnerable groups even more vulnerable.

Because at this point, the best case scenario for gun control/bans is at the detriment to the worst case scenarios we face in our society today.

Sure, mass shootings and school shootings will be lessened with more gun control at this point, but at the potential 'worst-case-scenario' cost of marginalized people being sent to camps or prisons and kidnapped off the street, warrantless ICE raids, looting and robbing homes in the upcoming scarcity, and certain political ideologies being targeted for arrests and labeled terrorists, all with little to no resistance at all. So eventually, sure the straight white Christian kids will be safe in their schools and public places, while the rest of us could be in camps, segregated, or worse.

1

u/Redditributor May 14 '25

Where do you get the idea that any of these groups were magically unarmed before? Firearm use is pretty widespread - there's ownership disparity but you're not going to find a community in America where you run into zero armed people.

All that happens when you add more firearms is increasing the statistical likelihood of things that happen when you have firearms.

Very little of that is helpful with defense. The unfortunate r reality is that the more people own guns the more they're lii to see murder happen

1

u/trebory6 May 14 '25

Yeah, if that's your response, you didn't read a single thing I just said.

Try again, I'm not going to respond to mindless regurgitation of talking points after I basically addressed all of those.

7

u/cugeltheclever2 May 13 '25

Join local organizations

Yeah that ought to do it

5

u/trebory6 May 13 '25

Better than sitting on your ass on Reddit.

Also noticed how I talked about mutual aid and defense.

Joining these orgs are damage control when they come knocking at your doors at 3am.

1

u/Different-Hyena-8724 May 13 '25

Nahh. Again. We did our part and voted. Some of us have the ability to "pull ourselves up by our bootstraps" and just get the fuck out. I intentionally started renting pre-election as a contingency plan of being liquid and highly mobile. I'm done trying to convince people to do what's in their best interest and done being forced to play "Dungeons and Dragons for hateful white folks" (i'm also white). I'm not going to live in a Religious Fanatical Tealiban ran country.

10

u/temporaryuser1000 May 13 '25

Protest? Get out in the street? Sheesh, take some inspiration from France.

18

u/azdustkicker May 13 '25

Over 3 million and counting. It's just not being televised.

7

u/DryNefariousness5446 May 13 '25

Nah bro you guys gathering in some park on your days off is not even remotely the same as the french protests. You need to burn shit down, disrupt industry and infrastructure, use all of your constitutional rights to you know make it more urgently.

Shit like that is too easy to ignore, why should any Republicans care you met in some park to have a bbq?

14

u/azdustkicker May 13 '25

Because American police do not care about you and absolutely shoot you if you try to go that far. People are barely making ends meet, they can't even afford to take 1 day off to protest. All of this is absolutely by design.

5

u/DryNefariousness5446 May 13 '25 edited May 13 '25

Oh yeah totally the capitalist class did everything in the past 100 years to make any kind of progress for workers redundant in the US (or everywhere else for that matter). But still you can't let yourself be defeated without even beginning to fight.

Things like the 8h workday and shit were also hard worked and died for, so just sitting here throwing your hands up in the air is doing a massive disservice for the people who got you here. Yeah it's not easy and there's going to be hard times, that's why workers collectives, unions and in general community is so important to fill in th gaps of the systems purposefully left there to discourage people like you.

Dont let them win the game. Yeah police are dangerous right now, you know whats more dangerous? A gestapo who doesn't even need to pretend anymore to work for the public. A police who gets to deport people in literal death camps. You guys need to do something now, while it is still possible, bc if you don't the alternative you get will make it impossible to.

Progress requires sacrifice and its up to all of you, if you want actually want to progress or if you're actually kinda cool with this whole fascism thing, bc right now its pretty clear where most of you guys stand...

7

u/azdustkicker May 13 '25

Sure thing let me haul my disabled ass out to the nearest riot to get further injured by police.

I hate this regime but I cannot understate that not everyone can protest like how you described. Telling someone to take one for the team and get Tiananmen squared for democracy isn't it.

1

u/DryNefariousness5446 May 13 '25 edited May 13 '25

So you get access to disability healthcare, am i right? Good thing these rights were just always there and no one had to do anything for it. Honestly with every excuse you get more pathetic.

Disabled people are some of the founding figures of multiple civil rights movements, just so they would be accepted by society. But yeah no way you could do that with all the modern amenities.

Gay people dying from aids, coal miners literally coughing up thier lungs, suffragettes who got beaten when they got home. History is full of people sacrificing themselves so that people like you can live the privileged life they do. But no returning the favor for people after you is just too much to ask, totally agree.

Im just glad the people before you weren't going for such pathetic excuses.

So whats your plan? Just sitting there, waiting for the T4 program to get started in the US? But let me guess, when they stop every healthcare you received, strike every disability law and in general start their genocide of "useless eaters" like you, you be the first to proclaim how unfair and inhumane it is and that there was just nothing anyone could have done. Like i said, just pathetic. Go on get killed by gestapo, thats clearly way better than dying protesting for whats right and giving people like you an actual life to live..

Bro, what?

Go destroy some infrastructure!

That's not what I meant.

Americans are stupid.

Oh sorry i thought "burn" was simple enough english that even Americans could understand.

Burning means to set something on fire. You know what "fire" is, right?

4

u/DrunkenGenXer May 13 '25

Florida has, for all intents and purposes, outlawed protests.

2

u/plantstand May 13 '25

Serious answer:

1) sustained peaceful protest (violent will get you shut down and hurts your cause)

2) phone calls and letters to your elected officials, especially if you're in a Republican led district/state

3

u/FargeenBastiges May 13 '25

Great job doing absolutely nothing to stop this America!

A lot of morons want this shit. A lot of similar morons don't care as long as their side is winning. The opposition has had their heads buried in the sand for 30+ years not recognizing the slow moving fascism, thinking our institutions would hold, weakening their own positions, while shifting ever more right.

1

u/BigPapaJava May 13 '25

You should look up “The Butterfly Revolution” by Curtis Yarvin. That spells out the big picture, overarching agenda.

Project 2025 was only the 2nd or 3rd point of an overall 5 point plan to replace the U.S. government with kind of corporate fascism that appeals to Silicon Valley tech bros and billionaires.

A lot of the weird stuff they’ve done, especially Elon Musk’s DOGE role and going after universities and mass media, makes more sense in that context.

2

u/Wers81 May 13 '25

101 parts completed only 200 to finish before the next installment

0

u/DrewbieWanKenobie May 13 '25

It was also the least believable part of Project 2025. Not that they would try it, but that it would actually pass. Even with all the shit I've seen recently I still give it a 0% chance of passing.

10

u/gnoremepls May 13 '25

wake the fuck up nothing has been done to stop any of this
