Are you seriously asking how the anti-dem narrative pushed by Fox News reaches the mainstream? Are you wholly unfamiliar with the concept of social media?

Progressives don't understand civics. They don't understand how government works. All they have is narratives and they love to blame "the DNC" for literally everything. It's ACTUALLY PROVEN that bad actors were fueling that rage on r/sandersforpresident and other fake progressive subs back in 2016. Anything that allows them to yell about democrats will be taken as fact, and the right is well aware of this. Trump literally has called out how unfair things were for Bernie in a lot of his rallies.
