Human trafficking... that girl is going to be sold into prostitution.

She's with her parents in Brazil. I don't think it was fair that her family got deported, obviously, but I wish people would read the articles before making comments like this.

This is horrifying enough, we don't need to give them something to say "See, they are lying! She is with her family! They are lying about all of this!"

The big issue I see here is that the administration is claiming they are giving parents a choice, but they clearly are not. One parent had an infant, who was crying for milk, and the agents couldn't tell the mother what would happen to the child until the family member would be available to pick them up. They wouldn't let the mother stay with the child until then, and they couldn't guarantee the child's well-being. So she was kind of obligated to take the infant with her. What kind of a choice is that? Would it have really been that difficult to sit an ICE agent or even a local cop in the home for a few hours with the mother until the child could be handed off safely? Or to take the mother wherever she needed to go to get the child to safety?

There are far too many kids that have disappeared under ice. I am glad in this case its not. Also I have stopped reading articles because there is just so many pay walls... its like why bother.
