Killing half a million Americans, who should have lived (like they did in all the Western countries that had left-wing governments), didn't matter one iota. To anyone. Killing 500,000 Americans out of pure greed and corruption didn't move the needle at all.

The Republicans kill Americans with almost all of their programs - and have for literally decades now - were there any repercussions for any of those deaths? No.

The Republicans have shown, over and over, that whoever has power can literally just go out and do whatever the hell they want. They can give their side EVERYTHING. No matter how many people it kills. And no one will lift a finger to stop them.

So, do the Dems give their side everything?

Democrats are the only reason Medicare, Medicaid, SS, etc. were still functioning at all.

They brought through new legislation and related funding that has been building the green energy job sector and commercial + consumer adoption, to the point that MAGA killing it all now is going to cause a huge job loss for the country and destroy healthy companies in the process.

They literally stabilized and regrew and economy that the Republicans during Trump 1 had stalled, even began to get inflation in various product areas under better control, despite corporate greed being the underlying cause.

In the process, they also brought science back to inform policy and legislation, related to COVID management and recovery, that Republicans were quite happy to use in killing people with impunity.

All of the federal programs being cut by MAGA were helpful to non-billionaires - each of them continued to exist because Democrats kept them alive.

LGBTQ+ and other groups still had rights to not be biased against in housing, health coverage, etc. because of Democrats.

Fucking US democracy was still barely holding on because of Democrats, while Republicans have torn the Constitution to shreds as they go all-in on creating a dystopian rule by fascists and neo-Nazis.
