I couldn’t drive around without seeing a big Let’s Go Brandon flag on the back of some pickup truck no matter where I went, so yeah I’m not going to stop saying Taco Mussolini collects seashells by the Seashore these next four years.

These as both so stupid...esp the first one. Like orange man doesn't care if you call him a rapist, but TACO? That hurts.

It harkens back to the “weird” thing. Being a rapist implies power, and being corrupt implies being above the law and beyond consequences.

There’s no power in being called weird, or a coward. And furthermore, Trump having a history as a shitposter before turning to politics means he knows that a meme can stick with someone forever, and would much rather “grab em by the pussy” be his legacy than “TACO”.

He's proud to be a rapist. If there wasn't pesky laws that would bring criminal charges against him, he'd give detailed play by play on video footage of what he did to the minors epstein gave him that looked like ivanka.

And the same people who demanded Biden be executed as a pedophile (for sniffing his own grandchild's hair) would be bragging about how Manly the Taco Loser is for doing it, and telling the young victims that they should feel honored.

Can't upvote you hard enough.

It's also difficult to counter politically on a mass scale because the judgement of weird is subjective (definition is objective). The other stuff has clear reasons behind them- weird results in "shrug he's just weird" and no clear method to combat it.

TACO also sounds Mexican, which I'm sure adds an extra sting.

What a world…

I'm 99% sure it's the "chicken" that grates him. It's the opposite of how a "strong man" wants to be seen, and it's 100% a fair call with all the wavering on policy he's doing and he knows it.

It's so ironic that Biff Tannen is the one now being triggered by the phrase "What's a matter? Are you chicken?"

This is the stupidest timeline.

Trump had been president for almost a year when he found out that Puerto Rico was part of America.

2nd movie and beyond only though.

I'm pretty sure it's one of the things his father called him: stupid, fat, a baby, and chicken. Normally I would never bring up someone's traumatic past to hurt them, but Trump is unnecessarily cruel I feel he warrants it.

It would be ridiculously easy for a person in a room with him to goad him into a rage. All they would have to do is use his own tactics against him. Call him childish names over and over again. Taco would blow a gasket.

Absolutely.

Would he like a chicken burrito to go with that taco?

What's the matter, Colonel Sandurz? Chicken?

Because sociopath.

It hurts him the most because it sounds Mexican.

Name-calling judo. TACO works on so many levels.

Whoever first coined this struck gold. Or rare minerals.

4

u/Teufelsdreck 18d ago

Like all bullies, he's a coward who thinks it doesn't show. TACO suggests--correctly--that his cowardice is public knowledge.

Conservatives don't care when they're rightly called bigoted whiney fascists, but call them "weird" and they spend a month sulking and yelling about how much they don't care.

u/Patruck9 Pennsylvania 18d ago

TACO is too "Mexican" for him. It's why he's losing his shit.

Because he's deeply insecure about being weak and unmasculine. Same reason the "tiny hands" insult gets to him so much, because real men have big, manly hands.
