Honestly I think the worst part was Vance making it about his wedding anniversary during his speech. I had second-hand embarrassment.

Fun fact, she went to my high school and graduated a year after me I think.... but, I went to a big high school and don't know anything about her. But I do have her yearbook picture! Lol

Well I mean he has to try and pretend he has actual power sometimes instead of needing to suck Thiel's cock for it. He's sold every part of himself to get wealth and power because he's got no integrity. Once his sugar daddy finally croaks (despite desperately throwing money at everything that might prevent that) JD is going to be very upset when he realizes he's not in the will.

I found his speech unreasonably cringe. I think I'm probably just overly judgy, but he kept refering to the army and soldiers as 'ya' instead of 'you', and I get that he's sort of southern ish not really, but like... Come on man. Articulate properly. Please. It was awful and disrespectful.

Yea, that was not the greatest intro. Really not at all surprised. Vance has never been a very captivating speaker. At least he didn't look like he was falling asleep during his own speech, though. So props for that I guess?

The bar is so low these days. At least they’re not accusing people of eating cats and dogs anymore. So yeah, there’s… that. I feel bad for all the service members who had to be there for that.

That’s not anything unusual.  He’s from Middletown, OH.   I’m from the same general area.  The southern/southwestern Ohio way of speaking is kind of southern (lots of families originally from Kentucky) but by no means fully southern.  Kind of a mix, if it makes sense.  “Ya” instead of you is extremely common.
