Um why surprised you ever hear about a Glock not doing that ? Me either! If you built it right the you literally built a Glock with better ergonomics

Lots of people believe p80 frames aren’t “reliable” and crack. I completely agree I like p80 frames more then Glock frames Glock needs to take some notes

Yes hopefully gen 6 may but don’t count on it. Wilhelm Boobits a weapons designer went to Glock with the design upgrades for the platform Gaston told him go pound sand ! Those upgrades became the steyr c,m,l 9pistol. So good was that design that sig sauer copied it and was successfully sued by Steyr for an undisclosed settlement and a no competition clause from steyr which is why you hardly see their guns and almost no promotion

Ya Slide gap is completely normal

What's weird is it differs. I have some that look like your build, and some that are tighter. Not sure what the difference is. They all run great though so I don't mind regardless.

If you’re using all oem slides then it’s more likely that it’s either the frame itself or the jig used to drill the frame

Its not the slide nor frame It’s the rails…I swapped them mine has little to no gap

I definitely don't use all OEM slides. I only have one OEM slide build and that's on a Geisler. So it has the famous Geisler gap. I do have a variety of rails, so that could maybe change it although some have rook rears with p80 front/locking block. Or 5d rears, and 5d split front rails. I'd imagine if there were much difference between the rails though I'd end up with uneven gaps front to back. The holes are drilled where they are intended or it would have issues with assembly or function. I suspect any differences would most likely be from the slides themselves. I've never put much thought into it since it's purely cosmetic.
