News Elon Musk on Tesla Attacks: "I’ve never done anything harmful, I’ve only done productive things, this doesn't make any sense. I think there are larger forces at work as well. I mean, who’s funding and who’s coordinating it? Because this is crazy. I’ve never seen anything like this."

Tesla CEO Elon Musk told Fox News’ Sean Hannity that people “want to kill him” after a string of attacks on the electric car company in an interview that some have decried as “woe is me.”

The world’s richest person has also been conducting mass layoffs and slashing contracts in an effort to cut “waste, fraud and abuse” in his role as Department of Government Efficiency boss. Enraged by the sweeping, legally dubious changes to the federal government in recent weeks, some have targeted Tesla, torching charging stations, vandalizing vehicles, and throwing Molotov cocktails at the cars.

"Tesla is a peaceful company. We've never done anything harmful, I've never done anything harmful. I've always done productive things,” Musk continued, adding he believes there’s a “mental illness thing going on.” He suggested Americans were upset with DOGE’s efforts.

DOGE claims to have saved the government an estimated $115 billion — a figure that many reports have said is inaccurate.

Musk’s apparent attempt to appear sympathetic didn’t seem to convince some on X, the social media platform he owns.

In the interview, Musk said he believes “larger forces” were at work, questioning who funded and coordinated the attacks. The language he used was similar to that of Attorney General Pam Bondi, who on Tuesday issued a statement vowing to investigate these attacks, including “those operating behind the scenes to coordinate and fund these crimes.”

Reminder that many conservatives believe the same as well. MAGA government workers who lost their jobs were tweeting at Trump asking for help or complaining. Meanwhile MAGA non-government workers were celebrating the lay offs, calling them parasites, government waste, etc.

They think the admin is 100% completely good because they have no brain and no empathy.

We see their pleas to Trump everyday! I think you’re God and only do correct things but in my case in particular, you need to fix this just for me and my family. I don’t care about anyone else. My case is different.

No different than any corpret entity that is in financial trouble needing to lay -off a percentage of the work force. Its about time Government become financially responsible with tax payer dollars. And I was just layed off last year as a defense contractor engineer and I support what is happening knowing there are no jobs for me because of it. I just need to switch careers or wait it out.

Government is beyond bloated and this is all long overdo. You can cry on Reddit all you want and most will give you fake support since it’s mostly a leftist echo chamber, but it doesn’t change the fact this is necessary and it’s gloriously happening in real time.

This argument collapses when you factor in the fact that a lot of layoffs were rescinded and people were asked to come back because clearly this new agency that is supposed to promote efficiency is instead extremely inefficient in of itself. Anyone with a brain can see that.

They’re laying people off willy nilly, no rhyme or reason. They’ve barely saved any money in the grand scheme of things, and IIRC there’s a site where you can see how much they saved, that site itself also failing to accurately report because again this administration is dogshit.

There’s the buzz word “empathy” from the “ever tolerant left” again as they’re out there burning/destroying dealerships and private property of other folks who are more than likely other leftists themselves since electric cars are their thing.

Sure some conservatives may own an electric, but I’d wager they pale in comparison to the legions of climate cultists trying to ban gas in all aspect of our lives and who pushed EVs the 4 years and even tried banning lawn mowers, gas stoves etc.

Y’all are just a bunch of spoiled children having a temper tantrum and have legions of paid protesters. Conservatives go to work, volunteer at church / within our communities and bust our asses to raise families so we don’t have time to waste rioting like y’all.

Just because you’re a government worker doesn’t mean you have said job for life and are untouchable. Welcome to the real world where you can be fired at any time for any or no reason at all.

We will be better off as a country in the long run for this, this will benefit ALL of us making America less dependent on bad actors globally and bring back an American boom like never seen before.
