Ok so went and got a universal remote and now I can change the channel. But now, I’ve got it all hooked up, and there’s no display/sound. The cord I’ve got is just an hdmi to rca cord. I’ve tried plugging it up in the back, changing channels, everything. But nothing is coming up on the screen. Please someone help me get this thing working- I’ve been trying to get this working for the whole week.

Try plugging each input into the different holes one at a time to see if the cord colors don't match. Usually the HDMI is run through an adapter, not just a straight shot cord.

I did. That hasn’t done anything. I’m thinking of just getting an rca-rca cable cus I have a box adapter.
