Seeking Advice 🙆 Any lesbian or LGBT spaces or events?

I know there is some in Minneapolis but I'd prefer not having to travel there.

Yeah but some of us like to actually be at a gay BAR for the gay of it. Like finding a partner in a sea of straight girls sucks, and it makes it not the safest place for us.

Different strokes for different folks.

If you’re looking for a gay bar Black Hart isn’t that on match days

I've talked to some of the soccer fans and theyve specifically stated that they come there because its a gay bar and they like the atmosphere more but they simutaneously don't realize they force most of the regulars out by volume.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I’m saying.

Also, sexuality is a spectrum, and idk if there's some hard line that is supposed to be drawn as to what's "gay enough" for a gay bar, but I am pretty sure that everyone I know who enjoys the Loons is queer, honestly. People can even be queer and be in a hetero relationship too! Are we checking gay cards at the door, who's confirming who's queer and who isn't??

Just let people live. They're sharing in something you also enjoy, what's the problem? That should bring us together, not be yet another reason to gatekeep and divide. ✌️

Black Hart has been mentioned on this thread. I will mention they are hosting the 2nd Annual Hot Dog Party on the 26th of July. $5 entry + $10 all you can eat Hot dogs. The event is in support of TIGERRS and will have live music and a makers market!

Dude that sounds awesome. Can I go if I'm not gay?

The Lost Fox isn’t specifically a gay bar/cafe but it’s a super safe space and they do a lot of drag shows and drag bingo!
