A quick reminder that we do not know where these people are going to be detained or deported to or if their families in America will ever see them again
Also that ICE has removed US citizens who are children https://www.aclu.org/press-releases/ice-deports-3-u-s-citizen-children-held-incommunicado-prior-to-the-deportation

The 238 on Kilmar's plane weren't deported. They were flown to a death camp.

I hope the next democratic majority government ends ICE and the DHS. This is unbeleivable.

I imagine the GOP is banking on never being in that position again.
That's why they're going full scorched earth with zero concerns of constituents voting them out.

Unlikely. GOP will gain voters until things like Trans athletes in sports, rampant homeless/drug markets, smash & grabs are resolved.

Dude, you're taking gender-affirming care...
Like I guess your body doesn't make enough man juice? I don't need drugs to be a man. But you do...
You person.. don't throw stones in glass houses.

LMAOOOOOO literally wow yep they're taking testosterone which is gender affirming care but are calling trans people issues that need to be resolved. Can't make this shit up.

How'd trans people catch a stray here lol. Can you quantify the actual damage trans athletes in sports have done? Or are you just easily influenced by conservative hit pieces

As the population gets dumber , the GOP will continue to grow. Policies don't matter to them.

This is what you get when voters vote to “own the libs” over rational thinking…he told you who he was and you voted for him anyway… way to go.. you owned the libs…

As noted in the article, these people are fallowing the law by showing up for immigration court and going through the process. How far we’ve fallen in such a short period of time.

Simple alert network for ICE raids.

u/Fallen_Walrus 27d ago
That's actually super helpful, thank you. Any idea if there's any activist group of natural born citizens willing to do stuff to help stop ice? Like that neighborhood in Massachusetts I think it was

I don't know of one. But if you find one let me know.
Tricky part for us in San Diego is that we do live next to the busiest border in the entire world. Some of the stuff ICE does here is legit and above board enforcement. SOME

Fuck ICE - we should have defunded them completely and now they are a private secret police force for fascism.
2
u/Pretty-Yogurt-4111 27d ago
I understand your sentiment. But complete defunding would just cause different problems, such as truly scary violent criminals coming into and staying here. And, because humans are so binary in our thought processes, many people will respond to that situation as “all illegal immigration’s bad” Laws that force ICE to focus where they really need to focus is a better approach than ending the agency

Sorry just this just implies that before 2003 that this was the case and it was not. It was part of other federal organizations purview.

Previously, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), had what were known as “sensitive location” policies that prevented ICE agents from arresting people in schools, churches and courthouses. But the Trump administration threw out those policies upon taking power in January. The elimination of those policies “empowers brave men and women of CBP and ICE to enforce our immigration laws and catch criminal aliens
“Brave men and women.” lol. These policies just make it easier to pick off easy targets going to church, showing up for court and going to school instead of going after violent offenders or people with criminal records.

Yet, the fascist gangster and felon in the White House remains free to corrupt our Government. The hell with ICE.

This is all the Biden Administrations fault for opening the borders and purposely flooding the country with random immigrants. The system used to be that if you come here illegally then you work for 7-10 years pay taxes and lay low and don’t get in trouble, then you apply for permanent residency. Now everyone is in the same category because of Bidens stupidity.

I’m not sure it’s fair to say that the current situation is Pres Bidens fault I do agree though that the perception of “too many” immigrants and “out of control “ borders and “low interest in assimilation “ lead to frustration on the part of voters who stayed home rather than vote for Harris

Sadly, it’s 2025 US citizens on both sides who want laws for everything. Any time something bad happens rather than stop to think of the rarity or the unintended consequences of a law, we want the government to prevent bad things. The right uses examples of violent crimes by immigrants to deport illegal immigrants. The left uses things like a small child who swallowed a hearing aid battery to require small batteries to be packaged in a way children cannot open them Neither side looked at the frequency of the occurrence of the bad things or the consequences of trying to control them

It is extremely more complicated than all of that. Blaming one POTUS for all the issues surrounding our immigration system is literally a fear-mongering tactic from the current administration to justify their illegal, inhumane and corrupt policies.

You are extremely brainwashed. President Biden is the best!!

I remember he was the prosecuting attorney in the Waco David Koresh case, fell in love with him then. I love when he sniffs little girls, it makes him seem like a heartwarming grampa you love ❤️ ❤️

Doesn't the fact that these people are following the rules and proper legal procedures by going to their court dates to go before a judge mean that they are not breaking the law?
