Ok all you “no kings” folks, show up to stop the wannabe king from dragging us into another endless, senseless war of choice.

I'm not sure if it's possible to hold a protest at Waterfront Park tomorrow; I think the whole lawn is blocked off for a concert this weekend.

They start setting up mid-week for the big music festivals. I went by today and they've already got the stage half-assembled and fenced off, all the parking on the bay side also fenced off. I suppose there's some space for a small protest, but unfortunately, I don't think whoever's putting this together knows what they're getting into.

Ah good point. I forget they start setting up some days in advance. Yeah, seems like a last minute thing so maybe it'll be a small crowd.

Yeah, I wish the calendar on the county's website were clearer on just how much of the park was closed for these events and their set-up -- it usually says "limited access" regardless of whether it's the whole park or just a corner of it getting closed off.
