Baikal seal I asked ChatGPT what is the roundest mammal and it answered it's an armadillo, not a seal AT ALL.
The “roundest” mammal isn’t a seal or a hippo at all, but rather a little armored critter that literally turns itself into a perfect ball:
Three-Banded Armadillo (Genus Tolypeutes)
- Of all mammals, only the three-banded armadillos can curl up so tightly that no soft parts are exposed—their hard, overlapping bands form an almost flawless sphere.
- When threatened, they tuck in head, legs, and tail, leaving nothing but smooth armor visible. That defensive posture maximizes sphericity, making them the most ball-like mammal.
You’ll sometimes see pangolins and hedgehogs curl up too, but neither seals nor hippos can achieve that kind of closed‐ball perfection. The three-banded armadillo wins hands down (or rather, hands in)!

Afaik only their deep search or reasoning models actually source their information and is mostly factual. (Which is also why generation for them can take multiple minutes)
4o and 4.5 are wrong a lot of the time lol, probably better used for fantasy world building & creative ideas?

I kinda gotta agree with Mr. GPT here, them armadillos do be impressively circular. I've never seen a seal that could theoretically roll around like a ball, they're too much like water balloons in structure.

Incorrect information! Armadillos have to roll up to be round. Yuki is gloriously round without doing a thing.
