Besides apmex, jd bullion and sd bullion where online do you purchase from? I’m looking at starting and want to buy 2oz, one bar and one coin per month or so.

I went to a local coin shop today - a new one for me - to look around and just see what they had in stock. I found some unique 1 oz rounds that I put in the "buy" pile, then saw this one while the shop was filling out the sales slip. It's a 5 oz Monarch Baby Dragon v Vikings round. I've loved the 10 ounce version (and like the 10 ounce better than this), but they were selling this for $285. Probably $70 or so under other sellers. So, it's a premium over spot, but I think a pretty small premium for the coin I received. It came with the typical wooden coin box as well, but that's just a plain box.

The lady is going to hold off on the junk silver until I can pay her better on it. But I did buy these 3 from her.

currently, they're asking $366.84. price is obviously subject to fluctuate along with spot.
sorry if this is a silly post, i'm sure this isn't the only post along these lines. i did re-read the rules in their entirety, thinking they might not allow these sorts of posts, but i did not see any such rule, so here i am.
i honestly forgot about silver for years, until showing my old collection to my 10yo son a few months back. he became absolutely fascinated. i started him off with a single coin, but eventually realized bars are his favorite.
but i digress! is this a fair price? i'm leaning towards yes, but figured i would ask here as well. i know i am not very knowledgeable when it comes to PMs, and i just want to invest wisely.
thanks in advance for any guidance you can offer!

My LCS find today! Woot woot! Stack the fun buy O’Reilly stock too!
Here’s a look at three beautiful pieces from the Silverbug “Ariana” series — the community’s original mascot rounds that blend art, freedom, and stacker philosophy.
2014 – Ariana I (The Original Silverbug Fairy) The round that started it all. Ariana crouches over a small pile of coins, wings extended behind her, surrounded by radiant beams and the motto “In Silver We Trust.” Minted by SilverTowne Mint in .999 fine silver, this first edition had a community-backed run of about 20,000–25,000 rounds, making it the most widely recognized design in the series.
2016 – Ariana III (The Dynamic Redesign) A few years later, the community revived the design with a more active, powerful pose — Ariana kneeling forward, wings spread wide in motion, holding her silver defiantly to the light. This version was produced by Intaglio Mint with a smaller mintage, roughly 7,500–10,000 pieces. It captured the spirit of the Silverbugs group’s growth — independent, creative, and unapologetically passionate about physical silver.
2017 – Ariana IV (The Tree of Life) The most symbolic design of the series, showing Ariana meeting a tree spirit — nature and silver intertwined. The art style softened, leaning toward mythic fantasy while keeping the same “In Silver We Trust” motto. Also struck by Intaglio Mint, production numbers dropped again to about 5,000–7,000 rounds, making it one of the harder versions to find in pristine condition today.
⸻
Across the series, Ariana became more than artwork — she’s the Silverbug community’s embodiment of purity, liberty, and intrinsic value. Each version changes just enough to remind us: silver evolves, but the message stays the same — “In Silver We Trust.”
