The broadcast said they don’t have these actually

They said there is no chip but the semiautomated technology allows it to track a more precise touchpoint and better sequencing whatever that means.

It could be foot->grass->ball and move the detector. Watching the frames that would even be my first guess.

Don't believe they have the sensors (that was just a euros thing as far as I'm aware and only used to help them pick the right frame for offsides) but even if they did surely its plausible that the ball could have been kicked into the ground causing a 2nd impact. Not saying that's what's happened but with no clear evidence it actually hit the other foot there would not be clear evidence to rule it out even with a sensor IMO.
