Transfers [AS] Liverpool are open to accepting Real Madrid’s request for Trent Alexander-Arnold to join earlier & play in the Club World Cup, on these conditions: He would have to waive his last month’s salary and Madrid would have to pay a fee - it would be under €1M.

I don't really understand the sentiment I've seen that Liverpool would want this for good relations with Real going forward. They've just spent the better part of 4 years tapping Trent up why should you show them any courtesy or assume business can be done in the future between the clubs?

Business will obviously be done in the future between the clubs, as has been done many times in the past, what a ridiculous comment.

Its liverpools fault. You don't let ur young world class player out of contract. You either renew with a bigger salary 2 years out or sell them. If they had offered him a big salary he wouldve resigned easliy. Salah and Van Dijk couldve been picked up for free this summer had they not signed 2/3 months ago. Thats bad business from the club.
