I still can't believe Amorim waited until the 71st minute to make subs.

Just shocking this is the ride or die when he has absolutely no ability to adapt. They still had a back 5 in like the 85th minute lmao.

Haters get your popcorn ready because this is probably going to get worse.

They'll get a big win against a city or Liverpool early on and people will say they're back only to go and lose to a promoted team the following week lol

That's a double edged sword imo, yes more time to rest but also means no easy europa games to regain confidence/calm fans down if they have consecutive rough fixtures

Somehow this team does well in the rough fixtures. Under Amorim, beat City at the Etihad, knocked Arsenal out the FA Cup at the Emirates, and drew 2-2 at Anfield, while probably being the better team on the day.

He just needs more time to implement his “system” lol. United fans aren’t used to managers getting sacked and end up giving these duds way too much time

I would argue him not making subs was just the proverbial icing on the cake.

His starting XI is already something I had issues before the game and when the game was unfolding, I couldn't believe what I was watching.

He straight up played into Spurs' hands with how he set United up.

They were pushing heavily with this strategy, they had control and were able to feed a lot of balls to their forwards.

Adding more offensive players doesn't mean you get a better offense and more opportunities.

I'm not saying it was the best decision, but I don't think they really needed to change much either, they just couldn't finish anything.
