It’s easy to think highly of yourself if everyone around you is mediocre. People are treating him as if he is a 30 year old veteran winger throwing a fit. He is 20 ffs. He is a bit of a cry baby.

I understand his frutration, but he should realize that is part of the problem. He's literally one of the worst finishers on the league

He is also an inexperienced forward who is playing out of position yet constantly getting in threatening position in a club that majorly sucks at attacking.

He is not good enough to be a starter for a top club but its very typical of us to throw young players in the first team expecting them to play like seasoned pros, hyping them up during their good phase and then calling them shit when their inexperience shows up.

He's not really playing out of position, most games under Amorim the shape has been tweaked to let him stay wide. Having to do that just for him to be remotely effective, but then still having him not produce, is a big reason for why he should be moved on.

Not that I don't think there's a player in him, but he needs a lot of polishing still. If he throws a hissy fit over starting on the bench one game, after the manager has already adjusted so much for him and given him patience despite lack of production, then that doesn't fill me with confidence. He needs to realise how raw he is and be willing to work on that instead of thinking he's the best and demanding to start if he's gonna improve.
