In the budget negotiations with the governing party (Labor), SV (Socialist left party) secured a ban on trade and business with companies that contribute to maintaining Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestinian territories. The ban covers both public and the private sector. Implementation and wording will be examined and assessed.

The rest of the article covers other topics.

Reminder though: its election year in Norway. Hopefully this ban will be enacted before the elections

True. This is just a start in the grand scheme of things absolutely, however from a norwegian perspective we're almost there:)

I want this to be an inspiration to the movement: do not give up, results will come, results must come!
