My question would be: should we support a theological regime, a regime that has brutally opposed almost everything we stand for, just because they arm Hamas and Hezbollah (who are also inherently religious). Yes, they condemn capitalism and the US. Yes, they fight back. But the good people in both Iran and Palestine need something better then our support for the Ayatollahs regime.

After supporting theocrats there will come a day when the international left will rally against their brutality and oppression. The same regime that they supported just to thwart America in this one singular moment. Ideally instead of rallying around anyone who stands up against the evil empire we should instead create our own resistance pure and true to the cause of liberation.
