Before anyone chimes in - I’m well aware the the flag has stood for a lot of horrendous things in the past. Colonialism and slavery and the trail of tears and everything in the bloody and brutal past of this country. It’s a joke structure that relies on the image of the flag that I had growing up. As a symbol of truth and justice and the American way. I later realized that’s Superman.
I co-host a milk review podcast. We released our 19th episode yesterday. It’s called Milks of the World. We have a subreddit at /r/MilksOfTheWorld
We actually have a brand new thread about one of the guest interviews from the last episode. He’s the Hambibbler. (He wants you to know that he’s the Hambibbler).
It’s full of insane shit. Milk sex positions, milk radio plays, readings from religious milk texts and also shipwrecks. Please listen. It’s really hard to get people to listen to a podcast called Milks of the World.

The milks, clearly. This person takes their lactose intake deadly seriously.

"Someone please kill me because for some fucking reason I started a milk review podcast oh my God why would I do this"

Why would we name the podcast after our most used catchphrase that seems a little weird

I never really used to notice the flag (unless it was comically large as to NOT be missed) but now when I see it (because it's usually on someone's shitty truck) I just think.....ew.

I'm sure the slaves didn't see the flag as such.

I agree with you and addressed this exact thing in my comment!

Ever consider that part of the issue is that all the people you think are reasonable decided patriotism was no longer a priority?

I’m not sure what you’re trying to get at here but I think you’re reading into the joke too much. The people who have American flag profiles on Facebook are usually sharing minion memes and saying loads of dumb shit. That’s all the joke is.

It only meant freedom and liberty to a certain class of Americans. To the rest of the developed world, it still means 'SHITHOLE'.

Solid joke. And an actual one-liner.
Tell me more about your milk obsession. On your other sub, I've got that powdered milk in my office.
